1. Introduction Congratulations on the purchase of your new FROSTMED portable cooling system! FROSTMED is an innovative cooling product that uses liquid Carbon Dioxide (CO2) to maintain a low temperature inside your insulated container. The FROSTMED's cooling ability is based on the principle that when liquid CO2 (compressed CO2) is released into the atmosphere it absorbs a large amount of heat from the surrounding items which become very cold.
Figure 1: Battery Pack • Insert the rechargeable battery pack in the battery as shown in Figure 2 and Figure 3. Figure 2: Battery location for PRO model • • • • • • • Figure 3: Battery location for LITE and LITE CV models If you purchase the PRO model, unscrew the canister retaining clamp and separate the 2 CO2 canisters. LITE and LITE CV models don’t have the canister retaining clamp and come already separated.
NOTE: Slight bursts of gas may occur when seating the canisters, this is normal. A continuous hiss without the electronics is a sign of a misalignment or a faulty valve. Consult the troubleshooting section if the problem persists. 2.2 Activating the Electronics The following instructions apply to FROSTMED PRO, LITE and LITE CV models. To activate the electronics, press the ON/OFF button. The valve will automatically open and begin cooling.

Figure 6: Option 1) Manual Temperature Setting Figure 7: Option 2) Pre-configured Temperature Setting The system reads the temperature inside the container and compares it to the FROSTMED Bluetooth App set point temperature. If the container temperature is above or equal to the set point temperature, FROSTMED will close the valve and stop releasing CO2.
Figure 8: Manual Option has been selected Figure 10: Celsius/Fahrenheit Conversion Figure 9: Blood option has been selected Figure 11: Blast function At any moment you can switch from Celsius to Fahrenheit Degree selecting “C/F” from the main menu on the top right of the app (see Figure 10). The “Blast” function in Figure 10 and 11 allows to temporary open the valve and cool down the interior of the container in case you need an immediate source of cold.
• A Red Light indicates the system is powered ON and operating/cooling. • A slowly blinking Blue Light indicates that the Bluetooth connection is available. • A rapid blinking Blue light indicates the Bluetooth connection is established. • A Green Light indicates the control valve is turned on and CO2 will be released. 4. Removing Empty CO2 Canisters 4.1 Removing CO2 Canisters Rotate the canister a quarter turn counterclockwise. Note: It is normal to hear a small hiss of gas while removing the canister. If hissing continues after removal of the tank see the trouble shooting section. CAUTION: Compressed gases have a large amount of stored energy within them.Removal of the canister at partial pressure may result in unanticipated motion of the canister. Be cautious when removing partially filled canisters. 5.

Sang : • Min. : + 1 °C • Max. : + 10 °C • Consigne : + 4 °C Plaquettes : • Min. : + 18 °C • Max. : + 24 °C • Consigne : + 21 °C Échantillon : • Min. : + 12 °C • Max. : + 20 °C • Consigne : + 15 °C Vaccins • Min. : + 2 °C • Max. : + 8 °C • Consigne : + 5 °C e.
