Setting 1. Series Set Up 1.1 Insert the provided bracket into the back slots. 1.2 Unplug the lead from your telephone.(Don't touch the other end on the wall.) 1.3 Insert the lead into the TO LINE port of the call blocker. 1.4 Use the supplied cable in the box, plug into the TO PHONE port, the other end to your telephone.
2. Parallel Set Up If caller ID or intermittent ringing issues arise, try the parallel. 1. Unplug the original phone line from the wall socket. Connect the splitter to the wall socket. 2. Use the original phone line to connect the telephone. 3. Connect the provided short cable to call blocker.
Function Large Number Capacity Creates a blacklist of unwanted callers- Create or Remove Blocked Number Create or remove numbers to/from the Blacklist Manually. Block Area Code Blocks the Area Code or the first few digits of a number. (Hint: Limited to 10 Groups) Block NO Caller ID calls This will block all calls without caller ID. Display Number of Blocked Calls Display the amount of numbers that have been added to the block list. Navigation Buttons Block list: The list of blocked callers. Call list: A list of the last 100 recorded numbers. BLOCK NO CID Calls Block all calls without caller ID. CALL LOG 000 Sequential number assigned to the recorded telephone number.
Operation 1. Recorded Calls When receiving new calls, the telephone will detect the number automatically and display the number and also count the numbers. (numbers are stored in numerical order) 1.1.1 To view all recorded numbers Press “left or right” arrow to view calls listed on the blocker. The LCD Screen will display the "CALL LOG"+ count, for example "CALL LOG 003", Call LOG 003 is the sequential number assigned to the recorded telephone number. 1.1.
2. To Block Numbers Without Caller ID First press the “BACK/ NO CID” button, then press the left or right arrow to toggle the NO CID on or off. Press “BACK/ NO CID” key again to exit and save. Hint: All unavailable, private, anonymous, name not provided, unknown numbers and calls with no Caller ID will be rejected when NO CID ON is turned on. ( Warning: you may stopped ALL calls from coming in after turn on BLOCK NO CID.
3. To Create Blacklist (list of blocked callers) 3.1.1 From numbers already recorded by the blocker. Press “left or right” arrow to view recorded numbers one at a time. Press BLOCK to save displayed phone number to blacklist. SAVE-SUCCEED will show in the display. 3.1.2 To add an incoming call to the blacklist, press the red BLOCK button on the blocker and hang-up. 3.1.3 If answering an call on a remote hand-set, press “*” and hang up. “SAVE-SUCCEED” will show on the display. 3.1.
