FENCE & WALL SPIKE STRIPS
Warranty
MAXguard® proudly warrants to the original purchaser a one (1) year limited warranty, that its
spike strips are free from defects in material and manufacturing workmanship. If, after inspec-
tion, we find that the product was defective in materials or workmanship, we will replace the
damaged strips without charge. MAXguard® will replace the defective strips except when
damage is caused by any of the following:
1. Improper installation.
2. When liability is limited by the laws of the governing jurisdiction. It is expressly under-
stood that the Company’s liability howsoever caused shall be limited to the purchase price paid
for the spike strips in question.
Conditions not covered by this warranty: This Warranty covers defects in material and/or manu-
facturing of the plastic parts. It does not cover failure of, or damage to, such products resulting
from faulty or improper installation; settlement or failure of any structure on which the
product(s) is installed; settlement or soil movement; misuse; intentional or negligent acts or
damage; fire, wind, flood, hail, lightning, or other acts of God; improper care or failure to provide
reasonable and necessary repair to the product; normal and expected weathering of the
surface*, mildew, exposure to harmful chemicals, vapors or acid rain and surface discoloration
due to atmospheric pollution.
This warranty does not apply to installation adhesive or hardware supplied.
This warranty does not apply to damage incurred by any carrier.
* Normal weathering is defined as exposure to ultraviolet light and extremes of weather and
atmosphere, which will cause any colored surface to experience changes. These are the exclu-
sive claims and remedies if the product falls within the warranty guidelines. For Warranty
