Before installing side shelf (A), the shelf must be disassembled into shelf bracket
(A1) and shelf (A2) by removing only the shelf bracket screws (B) on top as
shown. (Shelf shown from below)
As shelf (A2) is slotted, it should easily separate from shelf bracket (A1) without
having to loosen the other two screws.
1
Facing left side of smoker, remove door hinge cover screws (D) and door hinge
cover (C), then remove left control panel screw (E) from control panel housing (F).
2
Remove only rear door hinge screws (G)
(Do not loosen or remove door hinge screws
on the right as the door for smoker will loosen and the seal could be compromised.)
3
Still facing the left side of smoker, remove rear handle screws (H) as illustrated,
allowing rear handle (I) to move freely.
4
Install shelf bracket (A1) on to smoker body. Bring back end of shelf bracket
(A1) between smoker body and rear handle (I) as shown.
5
Secure shelf bracket (A1) using washers (K), replacement door hinge screws
(L) and replacement control panel cover screw (J) with the single black washer
(M).
(supplied in bag).
Replace door hinge cover (C) and secure with door hinge cover screws (D).
At this time reverse step 4, by replacing rear handle screws (H) and securing
rear handle (I) to side shelf and smoker body.
6
Align shelf (A2) with shelf bracket (A1) and re-secure using shelf bracket screws
(B) (Do not tighten all the way, shelf should be able to move freely.)
