4843DATSEN BACK UP CAMERA FAQ’s
Q: Do you offer additional cameras to connect with existing system?
A: We do not currently offer additional cameras.
Q: What is the average range of the signal between the camera and the monitor?
A: We have found the average to be 30 feet. The range is dependent on what is in
between the monitor and the camera. If it is free air it could be up to 100 feet, but if
there is anything electrical or metallic in between the camera and the display, the range
will be reduced substantially.
Q: Can an external antenna be hooked to the monitor to increase reception range?
A: The port on the monitor is a standard port. We have never tried hooking an external
antenna to the monitor, but if he found one that worked with the port in theory it should
work.
