Overload protection Switch action When the battery is operated in a manner that causes it to draw an abnormally high current, the tool automatically stops without any indication. In this situation, turn the tool off and stop the application that caused the tool to become overloaded. Then turn the tool on to restart. Insert the recipro saw blade into the slot of the blade clamp sleeve as far as it will go. The blade clamp sleeve will catch the recipro saw blade with a click. To use the hook, simply lift up hook until it snaps into the open position. When not in use, always lower hook until it snaps into the closed position.
