Safety Warnings Specific for Grinding and Abrasive Cutting-Off Operations: 1. Use only wheel types that are recommended for your power tool and the specific guard designed for the selected wheel. Wheels for which the power tool was not designed cannot be adequately guarded and are unsafe. 2. The grinding surface of centre depressed wheels must be mounted below the plane of the guard lip. An improperly mounted wheel that projects through the plane of the guard lip cannot be adequately protected. 3.

If working place is extremely hot and humid, or badly polluted by conductive dust, use a short-circuit breaker (30 mA) to assure operator safety. Do not use the tool on any materials containing asbestos. When use cut-off wheel, always work with the dust collecting wheel guard required by domestic regulation. Cutting discs must not be subjected to any lateral pressure.

If not, it may accidentally fall out of the tool, causing injury to you or someone around you. Charge the battery cartridge before completely discharged. Always stop tool operation and charge the battery cartridge when you notice less tool power. Never recharge a fully charged battery cartridge. Overcharging shortens the battery service life.
Tool / battery protection system Switch action The tool is equipped with a tool/battery protection system. This system automatically cuts off power to the motor to extend tool and battery life. The tool will automatically stop during operation if the tool or battery is placed under one of the following conditions: CAUTION: Before installing the battery cartridge into the tool, always check to see that the switch lever actuates properly and returns to the "OFF" position when released.

CAUTION: Never switch on the tool when it is in contact with the workpiece, it may cause an injury to operator. Cuando realice una operación en la que la herramienta de corte pueda entrar en contacto con cableado oculto, sujete la herramienta eléctrica por las superficies de asimiento aisladas. El contacto con un cable con corriente también hará que la corriente circule por las partes metálicas expuestas de la herramienta eléctrica y podrá ocasionar una descarga eléctrica al operador. Nunca deje la herramienta eléctrica hasta que el accesorio se haya detenido completamente.

En el momento de la operación, cuando la rueda se esté alejando de su cuerpo, el posible retroceso brusco podrá lanzar la rueda giratoria y la herramienta eléctrica directamente hacia usted. Cuando la rueda se atasque o se interrumpa el corte por cualquier razón, apague la herramienta eléctrica y sosténgala sin moverla hasta que la rueda se detenga por completo.

Protección contra sobrecarga Cuando la herramienta/batería se esté utilizando de una manera que cause que consuma una cantidad de corriente inusualmente alta, la herramienta se detendrá automáticamente sin que haya indicación alguna. En este caso, apague la herramienta y detenga la aplicación que causó que la herramienta se sobrecargara. Luego encienda la herramienta para volver a arrancarla.
Función de control de torsión electrónica Instalación o extracción del protector de la rueda La herramienta detecta electrónicamente las situaciones en las que hay riesgo de que la rueda o el accesorio puedan saltar. En este caso, la herramienta se apaga automáticamente para evitar que el eje siga girando (esto no evita el retroceso brusco).
