Inserting and Removing the Battery Inserting Battery s Insert the battery to the battery pack position, and then cover the ribbon. After putting the battery cover, tighten a screw in a counterclockwise direction. Removing Battery s Loosen a screw in a clockwise direction, and remove the battery cover. After removing the battery cover, pull out the battery by drawing the ribbon.

Inserting and Removing USIM CARD Inserting USIM CARD s Check USIM CARD provided by the membership mobile center. s Remove the battery on the back of the lower part of the Main Unit. s Insert USIM CARD with the terminals facing downward. s Insert the battery and cover the Ribbon, tighten up the battery cover. s Turn on the power of terminals and check if it is installed correctly.

Soft Reset Soft Reset s Press the reset groove in one second as shown in the picture. - Click the Reset Button when one of installed software programs causes unexpected problems while you use the device. - All currently running software will be terminated upon software reset and working files or data might be lost, but the existing stored data of files are not affected.
Main Window Main Window (Today) s The most basic screen of the mobile that helps users’ convenience, and it contains basic functions.
Using the Stylus Click Long Press Drag Item selection / Click Press the stylus pen without releasing, and select the menu. (Copy, Cut, Paste) Select a group or move icons like dragging a mouse in PC Click the item once to select or execute Press and hold the stylus on the touch screen. This function is frequently used for file copy, cut, and paste functions, or to use the keyboard. Drag the cursor to the desired position while pressing the touch screen.
Transcriber / Keyboard Transcriber (Block Recognizer, Transcriber, Letter Recognizer) s This program recognizes handwriting and automatically converts it into computer text when you write text using the stylus pen when entering text for documents or settings. s Select the input method by clicking icon at the bottom of screen. - Block/Letter Recognizer : In the input mode screen, you can enter the text in ‘abc’ section, and enter the number in ‘123’ section on the screen.
Transcriber / Keyboard Keyboard s The keyboard input is the way of entering the text using the stylus pen by touching the virtual keyboard which is the same shape as the actual keyboard on the screen. s You choose the input method by clicking icon at the bottom of screen. s You can enter the text by touching the keyboard directly.
ActiveSync ActiveSync Introduction s Sync is an abbreviation of Synchronization. In our case, it means to sync data between the PDA and PC by connecting them so that the data on both devices is the same. - When the data is modified in either the PDA or PC, the Sync function conveniently updates the data on the other device with the latest data between two of them. - Not all data is synchronized, and it depends on the option setting for Microsoft’s ActiveSync.
ActiveSync To install ActiveSync s Insert the CD included with this product, and select ActiveSync from the Auto-run screen to install the program. s Select the Next button, and select the Cancel button when you see the [Your device was not detected] screen. s Connect the USB cable between the cradle and USB port of your PC, and place the PDA on the cradle while the LCD power is on.
ActiveSync Synchronizing Data s There is an Option icon if you see the Microsoft ActiveSync window option,” “Sync mode,” “Sync mode”and“Rules” tabs will appear. s “Sync option” is the menu for selecting the items to synchronize. - Contact, schedule, work, files, and channel can be selected. s “Sync mode” is for selecting the method of synchronization, and you can use one of the three following methods depending on the selected Sync mode.
ActiveSync When ActiveSync does not work s Check whether the USB cable is properly connected to the cradle and the PC’s USB port. s Check whether the power of the M3 and LCD is on. s Select File > Connection Setting from the ActiveSync program, and then open the window. - Check whether the [Allow USB connection with this desktop computer] item is checked. - If not checked, then check the option and try Sync again. s Conduct a soft or hard reset, and then try Sync again.
Inserting and Removing Micro SD Card Inserting Micro SD Card s Open the memory card cover on the top of the main unit. s After inserting Micro SD Card as shown in the picture, cover it. Micro SD Card Usage s Once inserting Micro SD Card, [Storage Card] icon appears in [Start] [Show] as below. s Click [Storage Card] icon and check the contents in Micro SD Card. Recent list Answering the phone s Select ‘Answering phone’ in the screen of incoming calls and make calls. Number key s Select ear-microphone button in the screen of incoming calls and make calls.
Using Mobile phone Making a call s Enter the phone number with keypad in the main screen and press the ‘Call’ button. s Make a call by choosing the phone number in the Contact list, receiver / caller list, SMS list. s When the phone number is registered as the shortcut key, you can make a call with the shortcut key by pressing long the corresponding number. s Make a call with the recent list by pressing long the button of ear-microphone.
Using Mobile phone Receiving SMS s It shows the contents received in the screen of receiging SMS. s To check SMS, tap into the receiving / sending list in SMS message menu and select what you want to check. s Unchecked massage will be displayed on the left-top side of status bar as a Message icon. (When you choose the icon, it moves to ‘Message’ section.) Sending SMS s When you send SMS, tap into ‘Message’ and enter the text, and then enter or search the phone number and press Send button.
Using Mobile phone Setting up the phone s Execute [Menu] ►[Options] at the bottom of phone. - Phone : You can chage the setting of ring tone or keypad. Security : You can set up security service. Services : You can change the setting of mobile service. Network : You can change the setting of mobile center.
Using Internet s You can use Internet with Wireless LAN. Wireless LAN supports IEEE 802.11 a.b.g. Connecting Wireless LAN s Turn on AP device that supports IEEE 802.11 a, b, g. s Select [Wireless Manager] in Today screen. s After choosing AP device that you want to connect in the Wireless connection program, and connet. s If you get correct IP after connecing Wireless LAN, you can use the Internet service.
Using Internet s If the internet is connected through Wireless LAN connection, you can use the Internet via Web Browser. Web Site Browsing s Execute [Start] Internet address bar [Internet Explorer] s You can seach the Internet on the main site or move to the other site by entering the web address in the address bar.
Using Camera Running Camera program s The camera mode will be executed by pressing Camera button on the right side of mobile. s Still : Camera mode Camera button s Video : Video mode - Select [Menu] [Video]/[Still], and it converts video / camera mode mutually. s My Pictures : Check the photograph/ video taken. - Select [Thumbnails] in the shooting mode.
Using Camera Camera setting menu s Convert mode: You can select among ‘General’, ‘Continuous’, ‘Timer’ for taking a photo by choosing the mode. s Brightness : You can take a picture brighter or darker by choosing Brightness. (Adjust the left / right direction key) s Resolution : You can select image size by selecting Resolution. s Zoom-in /Zoom-out : Press Zoom-in or Zoom-out to adjust the size of the image.

Breakdown Diagnosis Cannot turn on the power s Remove tha battery or adapter to check its connection status, and insert it again. (If the charging LED lights on when you connect the adapter, the connection status is ok.) When the rest amount of battery is low, it is limited to operate some functions to protect system. Cannot boot up s Long press the power button.
