The SG-1 is a hand-held sound generator that emits a 3 kHz tone. It is used for
assistance in setting threshold levels for Louroe Audio Monitoring Systems involving
the DG and ALA Alarming Base Stations.
Normal ambient sound is between 54 to 80 dB sound pressure level (SPL). The hand
held SG-1 generates.
90 dB SPL @ 6” distance
88 dB SPL @ 12” distance
82 dB SPL @ 36” distance
1) Position the SG-1 approximately 36” to 48” directly below the
installed microphone. Turn unit on to produce sound.
2) Set the threshold control on base station so that the sound
emitted by SG-1 will cause the system to go into alarm.
NOTE: The SG-1 is only a reference
device and in no way dramatizes actual
ambient sound in an application. This is
only a point and it will be necessary to
reduce or increase the threshold level
for actual alarm signal.

WARRANTY
LOUROE ELECTRONICS warrants that at the time of shipment products manufactured by LOUROE ELECTRONICS to be free of defects in material and workmanship.
Should a defect appear within one year (12 months) from date of shipment, LOUROE ELECTRONICS will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective equipment.
This equipment shall not be accepted for repair or return without prior notification by LOUROE ELECTRONICS.
This warranty does not extend to any Louroe product that has been subjected to improper or incorrect installation, misuse, accident, or in violation of installation
instructions provided by LOUROE ELECTRONICS.
Returned shipments to LOUROE ELECTRONICS shall be at customer’s expense. LOUROE ELECTRONICS will return the equipment prepaid via best way.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
When this equipment is used as part of an
audio monitoring system, the law requires
that the public be given notice of AUDIO
MONITORING ON THE PREMISES. A
decal notice is included with each
microphone shipped.
