TROUBLESHOOTING:
Microphone on gaming headset does not work
If the microphone on your gaming headset isn't working, here are some things to try:
Make sure the microphone cable (marked with pink and an image of a microphone on the
jack) is firmly connected to the microphone input jack of your source device.
If you're connected to a computer, be sure you've properly configured your computer's
microphone input settings (see your computer's documentation for more information).
Test your microphone with a different application on your computer, like a basic sound
recording program.
Check that your headset's microphone mute switch isn't activated. The mute switch is
located on the ear cup of the headset, or on the inline control pod, if there is one.
Try using your headset on a different computer.
No sound coming from gaming headset
If you aren't hearing audio from your gaming headset, try the following:
Make sure the headphone cable (marked with green, and with an image of headphones on
the jack) is firmly connected to the audio output jack of your source device.
If you're connected to a computer, be sure you've properly configured your computer's
sound output settings (see your computer's documentation for more information).
Try plugging the headphone connector into a different device, like an MP3 player, or into
a different computer.
Try adjusting the volume or toggling the mute button on your headset, device, and
application.
