Manifesto We are Livlab, a team of insomniacs, designers and entrepreneurs, whose mission is to improve your sleep. To assist us on this journey we surrounded ourselves with the best experts (hypnotherapists, sleep doctors, sophrologists and sound designers) with the aim of creating a quality audio experience offering both variety and immersive content to help you fall asleep.
Battery charging 1 Open the hook at the back of the headband. 2 Plug the micro-USB cable (USB symbol facing you) into the micro USB port on the Bluetooth® module (buttons facing you). 6 3 Plug the micro-USB cable into the USB port on your computer or any USB wall adapter – a green light will blink during charging. 4 It’s fully charged when the green light disappears. We recommend charging after every use. Charging typically takes up to 2h.

Earphones position 1 Turn the headband inside out to place the inner side facing outwards. 2 Remove the foam via the rear slot. 3 Adjust the position of the earphones according to your ears. 4 Reinsert the foam into the headband making sure that it is correctly centered.
Pairing 1 You must be within 3 feet (1 m) of your device. Find the Bluetooth® module at the back of the headband 2 Hold down the button for 3s until you hear ascending tones through the speakers followed by a double bleeps and a blue light for 5s. 3 Device HoomBand Device Device Device Device On your device, make sure Bluetooth® is turned on. Look for “HoomBand” and select to pair. Pairing may take up to 15s.
Usage 1 Turn on the headband by holding down the button of the Bluetooth® block. Device HoomBand Device Device Device Device 2 HoomBand automatically connects to your device if it has been paired. 3 Open the HoomBand app downloaded from the App Store or Google Play.
4 Find yourself a comfortable place, choose the story of your choice and place your smartphone on your bedside table. You can download the audio files and activate airplane mode to stay disconnected.
Questions Can I wear HoomBand all night? Yes, the headband was designed specifically to be worn all night long (comfortable, breathable, etc). You can therefore sleep in whatever position you like. How should I set the volume? We do not recommend using the highest volume setting, in order to avoid damaging your hearing. The perfect volume is loud enough to hear the audio content correctly, without it being so loud as to wake you up once you are asleep.
Where should I focus my attention? Part of your attention will automatically be focused on the sounds and hypnotic inductions. It is best to adopt a passive attitude and to let yourself go. This exercise is easy to do and requires almost no mental effort. Should I try and stop thinking? No, trying to stop your thoughts is counter-productive. Furthermore, your thoughts are not the reason why you can’t fall asleep, your reaction to them is. Because they are bothering you, you want to stop them.
Product care Washing (1) Before washing, remove the foam, the earphones and the Bluetooth® block from inside the headband. (2) Wash the textile by hand in warm water. (3) Once the headband is completely dry, insert the foam and the earphones back into the headband. Battery Autonomy of 12h. Be sure to recharge your product every two nights. No worries, without music, the product automatically goes to sleep.
Products manufactured after the 1st of January 2006 are not considered as household waste. Please take to a approved electronic equipement recycling facility. Disclaimer. Not for use for children under 3 years old. The length of the cable presents a risk of strangluation. Small pieces may lead to choking. Please lower the volume before using to prevent hearing issues. Do not use at a high volume for prolonged periods.
Warranty & conditions Warranty The Customer benefits from the warranty against hidden defects during two years. Any return of the product under the above warranty must be with the prior agreement of Livlab. In the event that a manufacturing defect renders the Product unusable, the Customer may contact the Livlab After Sales Service at support@mydodow.com. Livlab undertakes to return free of charge the Product in good working order to the Customer, or a replacement thereof.

Manifeste Nous sommes Livlab, une équipe d’ex-insomniaques, de designers et d’entrepreneurs dont la mission est d’améliorer votre sommeil. Nous nous sommes entourés des meilleurs spécialistes – hypnothérapeutes, psychothérapeutes, médecins du sommeil, sophrologues, écrivains, sound designers et musiciens – dans le but de créer un contenu audio qualitatif, varié et immersif pour vous aider à vous endormir.
Chargement de la batterie 1 Ouvrez la fente située à l’arrière du bandeau. 2 Branchez le câble microUSB (symbole face à vous) au port micro-USB du module Bluetooth® (bouton face à vous). 22 3 Branchez le câble microUSB au port USB de votre ordinateur ou d’un adaptateur – une lumière verte clignotera durant le chargement. 4 Le chargement est complet quand la lumière s’éteint. Rechargez de préférence après chaque utilisation. Cela prend généralement jusqu’à 2h.

Repositionnement des écouteurs 1 Retournez le bandeau de façon à ce que la partie intérieure soit à l’extérieur. 2 Retirez la mousse et ses écouteurs par la fente arrière du bandeau. 3 Ajustez la position des écouteurs à celle de vos oreilles. 4 Réinsérez la mousse dans le textile en veillant à ce qu’elle soit bien centrée.
Jumelage avec le téléphone 1 Vous devez être à moins d’un mètre de votre appareil. Trouvez le boîtier Bluetooth® situé à l’arrière du bandeau. 2 Appuyez sur le bouton 3s jusqu’à ce que vous entendiez des notes ascendantes suivi d’un double bip et d’une lumière bleue, 3 Device HoomBand Device Device Device Device Assurez-vous que le Bluetooth® de votre appareil est activé. Sélectionnez « HoomBand ». Le jumelage peut prendre jusqu’à 15s.
Utilisation 1 Allumez votre bandeau avec un appui long sur le bouton du boitier Bluetooth® Device HoomBand Device Device Device Device 2 HoomBand se connectera automatiquement à votre appareil s’il a été jumelé. 3 Ouvrez l’application HoomBand téléchargée depuis l’App Store ou Google Play.
4 Installez-vous confortablement, lancez la piste audio de votre choix et laissez votre appareil sur la table de nuit. Vous pouvez télécharger les sessions et activer le mode avion pour rester déconnecté.
Questions Puis-je garder HoomBand pendant la nuit ? Le bandeau a été conçu pour que vous puissiez le garder toute la nuit (confort, respirant, etc). Vous pouvez donc dormir dans la position de votre choix. Dois-je éteindre HoomBand pendant la nuit ? Si l’histoire est fini et qu’aucun son n’est joué, votre bandeau se mettra en veille automatiquement pour économiser de la batterie. Nous vous conseillons néanmoins de le recharger toutes les 2 nuits d’utilisation et Apres une longue période d’inutilité.
Je porte HoomBand mais entends les bruits extérieurs, est ce normal ? Oui, les écouteurs ne sont pas intraoculaires et ne renferment pas vos oreilles comme d’autres casques audio, ce qui assure un confort prolongé pendant la nuit. Il permet aussi de ne pas bloquer complètement les sons extérieurs en cas d’alerte de sécurité (alarme incendie). Où porter mon attention ? Une partie de votre attention se portera automatiquement sur le son et les inductions hypnotiques.
Entretien Lavage 1 Avant le lavage, veillez à bien retirer la mousse, les écouteurs et le module Bluetooth®. 2 Le textile se lave à l’eau tiède et à la main. 3 Quand le tissu est entièrement sec, ré-insérez la mousse et les écouteurs. Batterie Autonomie 12h. Veillez à recharger votre produit toutes les deux nuits. Sans musique, le produit se met automatiquement en veille.
Avertissement Ne pas utiliser HoomBand et le contenu de l’app en conduisant un véhicule motorisé ou en travaillant sur une machine ou dans un lieu où vous n’êtes pas en mesure d’écouter les sons extérieurs pouvant mettre en danger votre vie et celle d’autrui. Utiliser HoomBand limite votre capacité à écouter les bruits environnants, quel que soit le volume sonore. Veillez donc à l’utiliser avec précaution.
Garantie & conditions Garantie HoomBand bénéficie de la garantie légale contre tout vice de matériau et fabrication dans des conditions normales d’utilisation pendant une période de 1 an. Tout retour du produit au titre de la garantie précitée doit faire l’objet d’un accord préalable de Livlab. À cette fin, le client prendra contact avec le service après-vente de Livlab (support@ hoomsleep.com). Livlab s’engage alors à ses frais, à renvoyer au client un produit en bon état de fonctionnement.
