Product and Button Description How to Use the Joystick Button ENGLISH You can easily control the functions of the monitor by pressing the joystick button or moving it left/right with your finger. Basic Functions Joystick Button / Power LED •• On: Power on •• Off: Power off Power on Press the joystick button once with your finger to turn on the monitor. Power off Press and hold the joystick button once with your finger to turn off the monitor.

Moving and Lifting the Monitor ENGLISH When moving or lifting the monitor, follow these instructions to prevent the monitor from being scratched or damaged and to ensure safe transportation, regardless of its shape or size. •• Place the monitor in the original box or packing material before attempting to move it. •• Before moving or lifting the monitor, disconnect the power cord and all other cables. •• Hold the bottom and side of the monitor frame firmly. Do not hold the panel itself.
ENGLISH •• If you use the monitor panel without the stand base, its joystick button may cause the monitor to become unstable and fall, resulting in damage to the monitor or human injury. In addition, this may cause the joystick button to malfunction.

Adjusting the Stand Height •• Unplug the power cord before moving or installing the monitor. Adjusting the Angle ENGLISH 1 Place the monitor mounted on the stand base in an upright position. 2 Adjust the angle of the screen. The angle of the screen can be adjusted forward or backward from -5° to 15° for a comfortable viewing experience. Rear WARNING •• To avoid injury to the fingers when adjusting the screen, do not hold the lower part of the monitor’s frame as illustrated below. Front •• Be careful not to touch or press the screen area when adjusting the angle of the monitor.
Pivot Feature Note 20 20 Head Stand Swivel (clockwise 20°) Swivel (counter clockwise 20°) WARNING •• To avoid scratching the stand base, make sure that when rotating the monitor using the pivot feature, the stand does not make contact with the monitor. 1 Raise the monitor to the maximum height. 2 Adjust the angle of the monitor in the direction of the arrow as shown in the ENGLISH figure. 4 Complete the installation by rotating the monitor 90° as shown below. Note 3 Rotate the monitor clockwise as shown in the figure. •• Auto Pivot feature of the display is not supported. •• The screen can be rotated easily using the screen pivot shortcut key provided with your Windows operating system.
Using the Kensington Lock Arrange the cables using the cable holder as shown in the illustration. The connector for the Kensington security system is located at the bottom of the monitor. For more information on installation and usage, refer to the Kensington lock owner’s manual or visit the website at http://www.kensington.com. Connect the monitor to a table using the Kensington security system cable. Mouse Holder Note •• The Kensington security system is optional.

Connecting to a PC •• Press the joystick button, go to Settings → Input, and then select the input option. •• This monitor supports the *Plug and Play feature. * Plug and Play: A feature that allows you to add a device to your computer without having to reconfigure anything or install any manual drivers. CAUTION •• Do not press the screen for a prolonged time. This may cause image distortion. •• Do not display a still image on the screen for a prolonged time. This may cause image retention.
ENGLISH CAUTION •• Using a DVI to HDMI / DP (DisplayPort) to HDMI cable may cause compatibility issues. •• Use a certified cable with the HDMI logo attached. If you do not use a certified HDMI cable, the screen may not display or a connection error may occur. •• Recommended HDMI cable types -- High-Speed HDMI®/TM cable -- High-Speed HDMI®/TM cable with Ethernet DisplayPort Connection Transmits digital video and audio signals from your PC to the monitor.
Connecting Peripherals HDMI Connection Connecting Headphones HDMI transmits digital video and audio signals from your AV device to the monitor. Connect your AV device to the monitor using the HDMI cable as shown in the illustration below. Connect peripherals to the monitor via the headphones port. Connect as illustrated. User Settings ENGLISH Menu Settings 1 2 3 4 To view the settings menu, press the joystick button at the bottom of the monitor and then enter the Settings. Configure the options by moving the joystick up/down/left/right. To return to the upper settings or set other settings items, move the joystick to or press ( ). If you want to exit the settings menu, move the joystick to until you exit.
Settings Description Changes the game mode to the one optimized for a given feature. Game Adjust Adjusts the 1ms Motion Blur Reduction,FreeSync,Black Stabilizer,Response Time,Cross Hair and Game Reset. Picture Adjust Adjusts the Brightness,Contrast,Sharpness,Gamma,Color Temp,R/G/B,Black Level,DFC and Picture Reset. Input General Input List Selects the input mode. Aspect Ratio Adjusts the aspect ratio of the screen.
ENGLISH Settings > Game Mode Gamer 1 Game Mode Description Gamer 2 In this mode, users can customize elements including game-related options. Gamer 1 and Gamer 2 picture modes allow you to save two sets of customized display settings, including game-related setup options. FPS This mode is optimized for FPS games.It is suitable for very dark FPS games. RTS This mode is optimized for RTS Game. Reader Optimizes the screen for viewing documents. You can brighten the screen in the settings menu.

Response Time Game Adjust Faster Sets the response time to Faster. Fast Sets the response time to Fast. Normal Sets the response time to Normal. Off Does not use the response time improvement feature. Cross Hair Cross hair provides a mark on the center of the screen for First Person Shooter (FPS) games. Users can select the cross hair that fits their gaming environment among four different cross hairs.
ENGLISH Settings > Picture Adjust Description Brightness Adjusts the brightness of the screen. Contrast Adjusts the contrast of the screen. Sharpness Adjusts the sharpness of the screen. Gamma Mode 1, Mode The higher the gamma value, the darker the image becomes. Likewise, the lower the gamma value, the lighter the image becomes. 2, Mode 3 Color Temp Picture Adjust Mode 4 If you do not need to adjust the gamma settings, select Mode 4.
Description Input List Selects the input mode. Adjusts the aspect ratio of the screen. Input Aspect Ratio Full Wide Displays the video in widescreen, regardless of the video signal input. Original Displays video according to the aspect ratio of the video signal input. 1:1 The aspect ratio is not adjusted from the original. Note •• The display may look the same for Full Wide, Original, and 1:1 options at the recommended resolution. (2560 x 1440) •• There is no 1:1 menu on FreeSync Mode.
Settings > General Description ENGLISH Language Sets the menu screen to the desired language. SMART ENERGY High Saves energy using the high-efficiency SMART Energy Saving feature. Low Off Saves energy using the low-efficiency SMART Energy Saving feature. Disables the SMART Energy Saving feature. SAVING Turns the power LED on the bottom of the monitor on or off. The power LED turns on automatically.
This feature disables the configuration and adjustment of menus. Enables OSD Lock. Disables OSD Lock. Note •• All features are disabled except Brightness,Contrast in Picture Adjust, Input, OSD Lock and Information in General. Information The display information will be shown the Model, Serial Number, Total Power On Time, Resolution. Reset Restores the default settings.
ENGLISH TROUBLESHOOTING Nothing is displayed on the screen. Is the monitor's power cord plugged in? •• Check if the power cord is correctly plugged into the power outlet. Is the power LED on? •• Check the power cable connection and press the power button. Is the power on and the power LED displaying red? •• Check that the connected input is enabled (Settings > Input).
The screen retains an image. •• Displaying a still image for a prolonged time may cause damage to the screen, resulting in the retention of the image. •• To extend the lifetime of the monitor, use a screensaver. Screen display is unstable and shaky. / Images displayed on the monitor leave shadow trails. Did you select the appropriate resolution? •• If the selected resolution is HDMI 1080i 60/50 Hz (interlaced), the screen may be flickering. Change the resolution to 1080p or the recommended resolution.
The display color is abnormal. ENGLISH Does the display appear discolored (16 colors)? •• Set the color to 24 bit (true color) or higher. In Windows, go to Control Panel > Display > Settings > Color Quality. (The settings may differ depending on the operating system (OS) you use.) Does the display color appear unstable or monochrome? •• Check if the signal cable is connected properly. Reconnect the cable or reinsert the PC's graphics card.
