8 ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING Moving and Lifting the Monitor ENGLISH ENG When moving or lifting the monitor, follow these instructions to prevent the monitor from being scratched or damaged and to ensure safe transportation regardless of its shape or size. CAUTION As far as possible, avoid touching the monitor yy screen. This may result in damage to the screen or some of the pixels used to create images.

Applying excessive force when tightening screws yy may cause damage to the monitor. Damage caused in this way will not be covered by the product warranty. Do not carry the monitor upside down by just yy holding the base. This may cause the monitor to fall off the stand and could result in personal injury.

The angle of the screen can be adjusted forwards or backwards for a comfortable viewing experience. 2 Remove the tape attached to the bottom back of the stand body and then pull out the locking pin while pressing the head downward.

WARNING yy To avoid scratching the stand base, make sure that when rotating the monitor using the pivot feature, the stand does not make contact with the monitor. 1 Raise the monitor to the maximum height. NOTE 2 Adjust the angle of the monitor in the direction of the arrow as shown in the figure.

To avoid injury when rotating the display, do not yy place your fingers between the display and the stand base. Detaching the Stand Body 1 Place the monitor’s screen face down. To protect the screen from scratches, cover the surface with a soft cloth. 2 Remove the stand from the monitor by pressing the button on the bottom center of the back of the monitor.
ASSEMBLING AND PREPARING 15 Wall Mount (A x B) yy Installing to a wall A 100 mm 100 mm 100 mm 100 mm To install the monitor to a wall, attach a wall mounting bracket (optional) to the back of the monitor. Make sure that the wall mounting bracket is securely fixed to the monitor and to the wall. 1 If you use screw longer than standard, the monitor might be damaged internally. 2 If you use improper screw, the product might be damaged and drop from mounted position.
16 USING THE MONITOR USING THE MONITOR ENGLISH ENG Connecting to a PC This monitor supports the *Plug and Play feature. yy *Plug and Play: A feature that allows you to add a device to your computer without having to reconfigure anything or install any manual drivers. DisplayPort connection Transmits the digital video and audio signals from your PC to the monitor. Connect your PC to the monitor using the Displayport cable as illustrated below.
USING THE MONITOR 17 Connecting to External Devices HDMI connection Connecting Headphones Transmits the digital video and audio signals from your PC and A/V devices to the monitor. Connect your PC and AV device to the monitor with the HDMI cable as illustrated below. Press the menu button and then select the input option from the input menu. Connect peripherals to the monitor via the headphones port. Connect as illustrated.

User Settings Picture Adjust SUPER RESOLUTION+ 21 Optimized picture quality is displayed when a user wants crystal clear images. It is effective for high quality video or game. Middle The optimized picture quality is displayed when a user wants images between low and high modes for comfortable viewing. It is effective for UCC or SD video. Low The optimized picture quality is displayed when a user wants smooth and natural images. It is effective for slow-moving pictures or still images.
22 User Settings Game Adjust Response Time ENGLISH ENG FreeSync Sets a response time for displayed pictures based on the speed of the screen. For a normal environment, it is recommended that you use Middle. For a fastmoving picture, it is recommended that you use high. Setting to High may cause image sticking. High Sets the response time to High. Middle Sets the response time to Middle. Low Sets the response time to Low. Off Does not use the response time improvement feature.

TROUBLESHOOTING 25 TROUBLESHOOTING Is the monitor's power cord plugged in? Check if the power cord is correctly plugged into the power outlet. yy Is the power LED on? Check the power cable connection and press the power button. yy Check that the connected input is enabled (Menu > Quick Settings > yy Input).
26 TROUBLESHOOTING NOTE ENGLISH ENG Check if the graphics card's resolution or frequency is within the range allowed by the monitor and set it to the yy recommended (optimal) resolution in Control Panel > Display > settings. Not setting the graphics card to the recommended (optimal) resolution may result in blurred text, a dimmed yy screen, a truncated display area, or misalignment of the display.
