INTRODUCTION TO THE AUTOMATIC ICEMAKER WARNING Personal Injury Hazard Avoid contact with the moving parts. DO NOT place fingers or hands on the automatic icemaking mechanism while the refrigerator is plugged in. A newly installed refrigerator may take 12 to 24 hours to begin making ice.

INSTALLING THE ICEMAKER BEFORE BEGINNING Read each step thoroughly before proceeding. CAUTION: Unplug the refrigerator power cord from the outlet. REQUIRED TOOLS Flat blade and Phillips screwdriver 1. REMOVE UPPER DRAWER Slide the upper drawer forward until the stops line up with the gaps in the molded upper drawer supports. Lift the front of the upper drawer up and pull the upper drawer out. 2. REMOVE LOWER DRAWER d 3.
INSTALLING THE ICEMAKER 5. TURN OFF ICEMAKER Turn the icemaker (1) switch to Leave the icemaker off until the refrigerator is connected to the water supply to prevent premature operation. 1 Switch 6. PLUG IN ICEMAKER Plug the icemaker wire harness into the connector located in the freezer ceiling until it clicks. NOTE: Make sure the connection is secure. 7. INSTALL ICEMAKER To mount the icemaker, place the two tabs located on the back of the icemaker into the slots located in the freezer ceiling.
INSTALLING THE WATER VALVE BEFORE BEGINNING Read each step thoroughly before proceeding. CAUTION: Unplug the refrigerator power cord from the outlet. REQUIRED TOOLS Flat blade and Phillips screwdriver 1. REMOVE BACK COVER Remove the back cover using a Phillips screwdriver. 2. CONNECT WATER VALVE WIRE HARNESS Facing the back of the refrigerator, locate the wiring harness for the water valve (6) at the lower right side. Plug the connector of the water valve harness onto the refrigerator terminals. 6 3.
WATER VALVE INSTALLATION 4. REMOVE ICEMAKER FILL TUBE COVER Remove and discard the icemaker fill tube opening cover located on the lower right side of the refrigerator; insert the icemaker fill tube all the way into the opening until it stops. 5. INSTALL FILL TUBE COVER Install the fill tube cover to the back of the refrigerator using the two Phillips screws (4) to hold the fill tube in place. 4 6. SECURE FILL TUBE Locate the mark on the back of the cabinet where the fill tube will be installed.
MAINTENANCE TURN THE ICEMAKER TO O (OFF) • When the ice storage bin is removed for more than a few minutes. • When the water supply will be shut off for several hours. • When the refrigerator will not be used for several days. NORMAL SOUNDS YOU MAY HEAR • During use, you may hear an occasional "buzzing" noise coming from the back of the refrigerator. This is normal and occurs when the water valve is turned on to allow water to fill the ice tray.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE AUTOMATIC ICEMAKER DOES NOT WORK Possible Cause Solution Icemaker switch in the O (off) position. Move the switch to the I (on) position. Water supply turned off or not connected. Check water line connection. After installing icemaker, wait 24 hours for freezer to reach its set temperature. Recommended freezer temperature is 0°F (-18°C). Freezer compartment too warm. Level cubes by hand. Piled up cubes in the storage bin causes the icemaker to shut off.

BRANCHEMENT D’EAU VALVE FAISCEAU Face à l'arrière du réfrigérateur, de localiser le faisceau de câblage pour la vanne d'eau sur le côté (6) inférieur droit.

Insérer le tube de la machine à glaçons dans l'ouverture et enfocer jusqu'à la buttée. 5. INSTALLER LE CACHE DU TUYAU DE REMPLISSAGE 4 Installer le cache du tuyau de remplissage à l'arrière du réfrigérateur en utilisant les vis cruciformes (4) afin que le tube reste en place. 6.

RETIRE EL CAJÓN SUPERIOR Deslice el cajón superior hacia adelante hasta que los topes se alineen con los huecos en los soportes moldeados del cajón superior.
