Directrices para un uso seguro y eficaz Lea estas sencillas instrucciones. Su desconocimiento puede ser peligroso o ilegal. En el caso de que se produjera algún fallo, su dispositivo integra una herramienta de software que recopila el registro de fallos. Esta herramienta recopila únicamente datos específicos del fallo, como son la intensidad de la señal y las aplicaciones cargadas. El registro solo se utiliza para determinar la causa del fallo.
• Aunque puede haber diferencias entre los niveles de SAR de los diferentes modelos de dispositivos LG, todos han sido diseñados para ajustarse a las directrices relevantes de exposición a ondas de radio. • El límite de SAR recomendado por la ICNIRP (International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection, Comisión internacional de protección contra radiaciones no ionizantes) es de 2 W/kg medido sobre diez (10) gramos de tejido.
Cuidado y mantenimiento del producto ADVERTENCIA Aviso de sustitución de la batería • Por su seguridad, no extraiga la batería incorporada en el producto. Si necesita sustituir la batería, lleve el dispositivo al proveedor o punto de servicio autorizado más cercano de LG Electronics para obtener asistencia. • La batería de iones de litio es un componente peligroso que podría provocar daños. • Si personal no cualificado sustituye la batería, el dispositivo podría resultar dañado.
• Apague el dispositivo en cualquier zona en la que así lo exijan normativas especiales. Por ejemplo, no lo utilice en hospitales, ya que podrían verse afectados equipos médicos delicados. • No manipule el dispositivo con las manos mojadas mientras se está cargando. Podría sufrir una descarga eléctrica y dañar gravemente el dispositivo. • No cargue la tableta cerca de material inflamable, ya que podría calentarse y provocar un incendio.
• Si la tableta se moja, desenchúfelo inmediatamente y déjelo secar por completo. No intente acelerar el proceso de secado con una fuente de calor externa, como un horno, un microondas o un secador de pelo. • Al mojarse el dispositivo, el líquido provocará que cambie el color de la etiqueta del producto del interior del dispositivo. La garantía no cubre los daños producidos en su dispositivo como consecuencia de la exposición a líquidos. • Utilice la tableta a temperaturas entre 0 ºC y 40 ºC, si es posible.
• La energía de radiofrecuencia puede afectar a algunos sistemas electrónicos de su vehículo, como la radio del coche o el equipo de seguridad. • Si su vehículo dispone de un airbag, no lo obstruya con equipos inalámbricos portátiles o fijos. Podrían provocar un fallo del airbag y ocasionarle graves heridas debido a un funcionamiento indebido.
Piezas de cristal Algunas piezas de su tableta están fabricadas con cristal. Este cristal puede romperse si el dispositivo cae sobre una superficie dura o recibe un impacto fuerte. Si el cristal se rompe, no lo toque ni intente retirarlo. No utilice su dispositivo hasta que un proveedor de servicio autorizado sustituya el cristal. Derribos No utilice la tableta mientras se realizan derribos. Respete las restricciones y siga las normativas.
Información y mantenimiento de la batería • No es necesario descargar por completo la batería antes de volver a cargarla. A diferencia de otros sistemas de baterías, no existe ningún efecto de memoria que pueda afectar al rendimiento de la batería. • Utilice solo las baterías y cargadores de LG. Los cargadores de LG han sido diseñados para maximizar la vida de la batería. • No desmonte ni provoque cortocircuitos en la batería.
Cómo actualizar su tableta Acceda a los lanzamientos de firmware más recientes, a nuevas funciones de software, así como a mejoras. • Actualice su tableta sin un PC. Seleccione Actualizar SW > Actualización de SW. • Actualice su tableta conectándolo a un PC. Para obtener más información sobre el uso de esta función, visite http://www.lg.com/common/index.jsp y seleccione el país y el idioma.
Cómo desechar aparatos eléctricos y electrónicos obsoletos 1 Todos los aparatos eléctricos o electrónicos se deben desechar aparte del servicio municipal de recogida de basuras, a través de los puntos de recogida designados por el gobierno o las autoridades locales. 2 La correcta recogida y tratamiento de los dispositivos inservibles contribuye a evitar riesgos potenciales para el medio ambiente y la salud pública.
Aviso importante Lea esta información antes de comenzar a usar su tableta. Antes de llamar al servicio de atención al cliente o llevar la tableta al servicio técnico, compruebe si los problemas de su dispositivo se describen en esta sección. 1. Memoria de la tableta Es necesario comprobar la memoria de la tableta y eliminar algunos datos, como aplicaciones, para disponer de más espacio en la memoria. Para desinstalar aplicaciones: 1 Pulse la ficha > > Aplicaciones > Ajustes > Aplicaciones.
ADVERTENCIA Para proteger la tableta y sus datos personales, descargue únicamente aplicaciones que procedan de fuentes seguras, como Play Store™. Si se han instalado aplicaciones de forma incorrecta en su tableta, es posible que este no funcione normalmente o que se produzca un error grave. Debe desinstalar de la tableta dichas aplicaciones y todos sus datos y ajustes. 3. Uso de un patrón de desbloqueo Permite establecer un patrón de desbloqueo para proteger la tableta.
Si no puede recordar el patrón de desbloqueo, el PIN o la contraseña: < Si ha olvidado el patrón > Si ha iniciado sesión en su cuenta de Google desde la tableta pero ha cometido cinco errores al introducir el patrón, pulse el botón ¿Has olvidado el patrón? de la parte inferior de la pantalla. A continuación, se le solicitará que inicie sesión en su cuenta de Google o que escriba el PIN de seguridad que introdujo al crear el patrón de bloqueo.
3 Suelte la tecla de encendido/bloqueo únicamente cuando se muestre el logotipo de LG y mantenga pulsada la tecla para bajar el volumen. 4 A continuación, mantenga pulsada inmediatamente la tecla de encendido/bloqueo + la tecla para subir el volumen al mismo tiempo mientras mantiene pulsada la tecla para bajar el volumen. 5 Suelte todas las teclas cuando se muestre la pantalla Restablecimiento completo a los ajustes de fábrica.
1 Mantenga pulsada la tecla de inicio . Aparecerá una lista de las aplicaciones utilizadas recientemente. 2 Pulse la aplicación a la que desee acceder. Esto no detiene la ejecución en segundo plano de la aplicación anterior en la tableta. Asegúrese de pulsar la tecla Atrás para salir de una aplicación después de utilizarla. • Para detener las aplicaciones, pulse Administrador de tareas en la lista de aplicaciones recientes y, a continuación, pulse Parar o Detener todo.

24 Lente de la cámara delantera Utilícela para tomar imágenes y grabar vídeos de usted mismo. También puede utilizarla para mantener chats de vídeo. Manténgala limpia para conseguir un rendimiento óptimo. Ranura para tarjeta microSD Inserte una tarjeta microSD para almacenar archivos como, por ejemplo, de música, vídeos y fotografías. Conector de auriculares Le permite conectar un kit manos libres opcional para mantener conversaciones en el práctico modo de manos libres.
Altavoz Se usa para escuchar el audio de la función seleccionada (p. ej., música, vídeos, clips de sonido, etc.). Micrófono Graba su voz y se utiliza para funciones con activación por voz. LED de infrarrojos Funciona como sensor de QuickRemote.  ADVERTENCIA Si coloca un objeto pesado sobre la tableta o se sienta sobre él, puede dañar la pantalla LCD y las funciones de la pantalla táctil. No cubra el sensor de proximidad de la pantalla LCD con película de protección.
Aviso: Si la pantalla táctil no funciona mientras la tableta está en proceso de carga, puede deberse a un suministro eléctrico inestable. Por lo tanto, desconecte el cable USB del dispositivo o desconecte el adaptador USB de la toma de corriente. 1 Conecte el adaptador USB y el cable USB. 2 Conecte el cable USB (tal y como se muestra a continuación) en el Puerto de carga/USB de la tableta. NOTA: debe realizarse una primera carga completa para mejorar la vida útil de la batería.
Para aumentar la duración de su batería • Desactive las comunicaciones por radio que no esté utilizando, como Wi-Fi, Bluetooth o GPS. • Reduzca el brillo de la pantalla y establezca un tiempo de espera de pantalla más breve. • Desactive la sincronización automática de Gmail™, Calendario, Contactos y otras aplicaciones. • Algunas aplicaciones descargadas pueden provocar la reducción de la carga de la batería. • Compruebe el nivel de carga de la batería mientras utiliza aplicaciones descargadas.
Inserción de la tarjeta microSD El dispositivo es compatible con el uso de las tarjetas de memoria microSD con capacidad de hasta 64 GB. El contenido multimedia se puede guardar en la tarjeta microSD. 1 Apague la tableta antes de insertar o quitar la tarjeta microSD. 2 Coloque la uña en la muesca y tire de la bandeja de la tarjeta microSD para extraerla. Inserte la tarjeta microSD en la ranura con los contactos orientados hacia abajo. Empuje suavemente la bandeja en dirección hacia el dispositivo.
Extracción de la tarjeta microSD Para quitar con seguridad la tarjeta microSD de la tableta, primero debe desactivarla. 1 Desde la pantalla de inicio, pulse Aplicaciones > Ajustes > Almacenamiento > Desactivar tarjeta SD. 2 Tire suavemente de la tarjeta microSD para extraerla de la ranura. Aviso: No quite la tarjeta microSD sin antes desactivarla. De lo contrario, podría dañarse la tarjeta microSD así como la tableta, además de dañarse los datos almacenados en la tarjeta microSD.
Bloqueo y desbloqueo de la pantalla Si no utiliza la tableta durante un tiempo, la pantalla se apaga y se bloquea automáticamente. Esto contribuye a evitar pulsaciones accidentales y ahorra energía de la batería. Si no está utilizando la tableta, pulse la tecla de encendido/bloqueo para bloquearlo. Si hay algún programa ejecutándose cuando se bloquea la pantalla, es posible que siga ejecutándose en el modo de bloqueo.
Pantalla de inicio Sugerencias sobre la pantalla táctil A continuación, le presentamos algunas sugerencias sobre cómo navegar por la tableta. NOTA: • Para seleccionar un elemento, pulse la parte central del icono. • No ejerza una presión excesiva. La pantalla táctil es lo suficientemente sensible como para detectar una pulsación ligera pero firme. • Utilice la punta del dedo para tocar la opción que desee. Intente no tocar ninguna otra tecla.
Deslizamiento o desplazamiento Para deslizar o desplazarse, mueva rápidamente el dedo sobre la superficie de la pantalla sin detenerse desde el momento en que ha tocado la pantalla (para no arrastrar el elemento). Por ejemplo, puede deslizar el dedo sobre la pantalla hacia arriba o hacia abajo para desplazarse por una lista, o navegar por las diferentes pantallas de inicio deslizando el dedo de izquierda a derecha (y viceversa).
• Realice un doble toque rápido en el centro de la pantalla para encenderla. • Realice un doble toque rápido en la barra de estado, en un área vacía en la pantalla de inicio o en la pantalla de bloqueo para apagar la pantalla.  NOTA: • Podrá deshabilitar esta función en la configuración de Pantalla. En la pantalla Inicio, toque Aplicaciones > Ajustes > Pantalla > KnockON > toque la casilla de verificación KnockON. Pantalla de inicio Deslice el dedo hacia la izquierda o la derecha para ver los paneles.
En la parte inferior de la pantalla de inicio se encuentran los iconos del menú. Los iconos del menú permiten acceder a las funciones más habituales fácilmente, con una sola pulsación. Barra de estado: muestra información sobre el estado del dispositivo, incluidos la hora, potencia de la señal, estado de la batería e iconos de notificación. Iconos de aplicaciones: pulse un icono (aplicación, widget, carpeta, etc.) para abrirlo y utilizarlo.
Personalización de la pantalla de inicio Puede editar la pantalla de inicio mediante la incorporación de aplicaciones, descargas, widgets o fondos de pantalla. Para utilizar la tableta de una forma más cómoda, añada sus aplicaciones y widgets favoritos a la pantalla de inicio. Para añadir elementos a la pantalla de inicio: 1 Mantenga pulsada la parte vacía de la pantalla de inicio. 2 Toque la ficha Aplicaciones o Widgets. 3 Arrastre el elemento que desee a la ubicación elegida y levante el dedo.
Notificaciones Las notificaciones le avisan de la llegada de nuevos mensajes, eventos de calendario o alarmas, así como de eventos que se estén realizando en ese momento como, por ejemplo, descargas de vídeo. En el panel de notificaciones puede ver el estado actual de la tableta y las notificaciones pendientes. Cuando se recibe una notificación, se muestra el icono correspondiente en la parte superior de la pantalla.
NOTA: mantenga pulsado cualquiera de los iconos de Ajustes rápidos para ver el menú de ajustes de la función. Barra Ajustes rápidos: deslice rápidamente hacia la derecha o hacia la izquierda para desplazarse por la lista. Barra de Aplicaciones QSlide:: púlsela para activar una función QSlide. Deslice hacia izquierda y derecha para ajustar el Brillo de la pantalla o el Volumen.
Aplicaciones QSlide en el panel de notificaciones Las aplicaciones QSlide se muestran en una barra del panel de notificaciones, bajo la barra Ajustes rápidos. Estos iconos ofrecen una forma rápida y práctica de realizar varias tareas en la misma pantalla (de una forma similar la función de imagen dentro de imagen de un televisor). QSlide muestra una pequeña ventana de aplicación en la pantalla, que puede moverse, modificar su tamaño o convertir en transparente.

La tableta está conectado al PC a través de un cable USB o está activa la función Módem USB Modo Ahorro de energía activado QuickSlide activado Varios usuarios Solo puede crearse un identificador de propietario de tableta, pero es posible añadir varios identificadores de usuario para que otras personas puedan iniciar sesión y usar la tableta de forma independiente.
• Cada usuario solo puede configurar y usar su propio contenido y datos (por ejemplo, ajustes de la pantalla de inicio, ajustes de sonido, etc.). • Cualquier usuario puede aceptar permisos de aplicaciones actualizados en nombre del resto de usuarios. • Las alarmas sonarán a la hora establecida, sea cual sea el usuario que las activara. • Los mensajes y los eventos de calendario programados se enviarán para informar únicamente al identificador de usuario especificado.
Deslice hacia lateral Utilice un deslizamiento con los tres dedos para guardar las aplicaciones que se encuentren en ejecución en la izquierda, o hacer que se muestren de nuevo en la pantalla. A la hora de recuperarlas, algunas aplicaciones podrían reiniciarse. Podrá guardar hasta tres aplicaciones. 1 Mientras se encuentre abierta una aplicación, coloque tres dedos en la pantalla y deslice hacia la izquierda. La pantalla actual se guarda y aparece la pantalla de inicio.
1 Conecte los auriculares o el dispositivo OTG (On-the-Go) (por ejemplo, ratón, teclado, etc.). 2 Se mostrará el panel de aplicaciones y podrá seleccionar la aplicación que desea ejecutar. NOTA: puede editar las aplicaciones que desea que se muestren en el panel, así como configurar el panel de aplicaciones para que no se muestre. Pulse > > Ajustes > Accesorios.
1 Mientras está conectado a Internet, pulse y, a continuación, Capture plus. 2 Ajuste el recuadro azul al tamaño que desee y, a continuación, pulse Aceptar. El área seleccionada quedará guardada en la Galería. Teclado en pantalla Puede escribir texto utilizando el teclado en pantalla. El teclado en pantalla aparece automáticamente en la pantalla cuando necesita introducir texto. Para mostrar manualmente el teclado, solo tiene que pulsar el campo de texto en el que desea introducir texto.
Configuración de la cuenta de Google Al encender la tableta por primera vez, podrá activar la red, acceder a su cuenta de Google y configurar la manera en que desea utilizar algunos servicios de Google. Cómo configurar la cuenta de Google • Inicie sesión en una cuenta de Google desde la pantalla de configuración que aparece. O • Desde la pantalla de inicio, pulse Aplicaciones > ficha Aplicaciones > Ajustes > Cuentas y sincronización > Añadir cuenta > Google.
Conexión a redes y dispositivos Wi-Fi Con la conexión Wi-Fi puede utilizar el acceso a Internet de alta velocidad dentro de la cobertura del punto de acceso inalámbrico. Disfrute de Internet sin cables utilizando una red Wi-Fi, sin cargos adicionales. Conexión a redes Wi-Fi Para utilizar la conexión Wi-Fi de la tableta se debe acceder a un punto de acceso inalámbrico o "zona Wi-Fi". Algunos puntos de acceso están abiertos y basta con conectarse a ellos.
Bluetooth Puede utilizar la tecnología Bluetooth para enviar datos ejecutando la aplicación correspondiente, pero no desde el menú Bluetooth, como en la mayoría de los demás teléfonos móviles. NOTA: • LG no se hace responsable de la pérdida, interceptación o uso indebido de los datos enviados o recibidos a través de la funcionalidad inalámbrica Bluetooth. • Asegúrese siempre de que los dispositivos con los que comparte información, o de los que recibe datos, sean fiables y seguros.
NOTE: Dependiendo del tipo de dispositivo, puede que tenga que introducir los códigos de juego, confirmar los códigos coinciden, o los dispositivos pueden asociarse automáticamente. Cuando se complete la asociación, su teléfono se conectará al dispositivo. NOTA: su tableta no es compatible con el Perfil manos libres. Por ello, el uso de funciones de llamada con algunos accesorios, como por ejemplo kits manos libres Bluetooth o dispositivos con Bluetooth, podría no estar disponible en este dispositivo.
Recepción de datos mediante la funcionalidad inalámbrica Bluetooth 1 En la pantalla de inicio, pulse Aplicaciones > ficha Aplicaciones > Ajustes > Bluetooth. 2 Pulse para activar la conexión Bluetooth y marque la casilla de verificación de la parte superior de la pantalla para que lo puedan ver otros dispositivos. NOTA: para seleccionar el tiempo durante el que estará visible el dispositivo, pulse la tecla Menú > Tiempo visible.
• SmartShare Beam – Esto permite transferir el contenido rápidamente a través de Wi-Fi Direct. < Play > < Beam > Reproducir contenido de dispositivos cercanos Puede disfrutar del contenido de dispositivos cercanos (PC, NAS, móvil) en las aplicaciones Galería, Música, Vídeos app. Conexión de dispositivos Conecte el dispositivo y otros dispositivos compatibles con DLNA en la misma red Wi-Fi. Búsqueda de otros dispositivos Presione Dispositivos cercanos y podrá ver los dispositivos compatibles con DLNA.
Uso de la nube NOTA: las funciones compatibles pueden variar en función del servicio en la nube. La recuperación de datos puede tardar algún tiempo, en función del servicio en la nube. 1 2 3 4 Seleccione Nube en la aplicación Galería, Música, Vídeos, etc. Seleccione el servicio en la nube que desea utilizar e inicie sesión. Podrá usar el contenido de la nube después de iniciar sesión. Establezca los ajustes de Nube para que seleccionen la aplicación que usará el servicio en la nube.
Sincronización con el Reproductor de Windows Media Asegúrese de que el Reproductor de Windows Media esté instalado en su PC. 1 Utilice el cable USB para conectar la tableta a un PC que tenga instalado el Reproductor de Windows Media. 2 Seleccione la opción Sincronizar medios (MTP). Una vez conectado, aparecerá una ventana emergente en el PC. 3 Abra el Reproductor de Windows Media para sincronizar los archivos de música.
Contactos Puede añadir contactos al tableta y sincronizarlos con los contactos de la cuenta de Google u otras cuentas que sean compatibles con la sincronización de contactos. Buscar un contacto 1 En la pantalla de inicio, toque Contactos para abrir la lista de contactos. 2 Toque el cuadro Buscar contactos y escriba el nombre del contacto. También puede tocar una letra en el lateral izquierdo de la pantalla para acceder a los nombres que comiencen por la letra elegida.
Para añadir un contacto a la lista de favoritos 1 En la pantalla de inicio, pulse Contactos para acceder a los contactos. 2 Pulse un contacto para ver los detalles. 3 Pulse la estrella situada a la derecha del nombre del contacto. La estrella se vuelve dorada y el contacto se añade a los favoritos. Para eliminar un contacto de la lista de favoritos 1 En la pantalla de inicio, pulse Contactos para acceder a los contactos. 2 Pulse la ficha Favoritos para ver sus contactos favoritos.
E-mail Puede utilizar la aplicación E-mail para leer los correos electrónicos de servicios como Gmail. La aplicación E-mail admite los siguientes tipos de cuenta: POP3, IMAP y Exchange. Su proveedor de servicios o administrador del sistema puede proporcionarle los ajustes de cuenta que necesite. Administración de una cuenta de E-mail Toque el Correo electrónico en la pantalla de inicio.
Para eliminar una cuenta de E-mail: • Abra la aplicación E-mail y pulse la tecla Menú > Ajustes > pulse la tecla Menú > Borrar cuenta > pulse la cuenta que desee eliminar > Eliminar > Sí. Trabajo con las carpetas de cuenta Abra la aplicación E-mail y pulse la tecla Menú y seleccione Carpetas. Cada cuenta tiene las siguientes carpetas: Recibidos, Enviando, Enviados y Borradores. En función de las funciones que admita el proveedor de servicios de la cuenta, puede contar con carpetas adicionales.

Ajuste un sonido de obturador. Permite ajustar si se usa la tecla de volumen para capturar o para el zoom. Defina la ubicación de almacenamiento de las imágenes.
Cómo tomar una foto rápida 1 Abra la aplicación Cámara. 2 Apunte con el objetivo al sujeto que desee fotografiar. 3 Aparecerá un cuadro de enfoque en el centro de la pantalla del visor. Multimedia Galería Puede almacenar archivos multimedia en una memoria interna para acceder fácilmente a todos sus archivos multimedia. Utilice esta aplicación para ver archivos multimedia como fotografías y vídeos. 1 En la pantalla de inicio, pulse Aplicaciones > ficha Aplicaciones > Galería . Desde Galería podrá gestionar y compartir todos sus archivos de imagen y de vídeo. NOTA: • En función del software que se haya instalado en el dispositivo, algunos formatos de archivo no son compatibles.
Acercar y alejar mediante el zoom Para ampliar una imagen, utilice uno de los métodos siguientes: • Pulse dos veces la zona que desea ampliar. Pulse dos veces de nuevo para regresar a la vista de pantalla completa. • Coloque dos dedos en cualquier punto de la imagen y sepárelos para acercar la imagen. Para alejarla, únalos o toque la pantalla dos veces. Reproducción de vídeos Abra la aplicación Galería y seleccione un álbum. El icono Reproducir se muestra en los archivos de vídeo.
Establecer como fondo de pantalla Mientras visualiza una foto, toque la tecla Menú > Usar imagen como y seleccione Foto de contacto, Fondo de pantalla, Fondo de bloqueo o Fondo de pantalla. Modo presentación Puede ver sus fotografías en una presentación de diapositivas por álbum o al seleccionar todas las fotografías. En la pantalla de inicio, toque Galería .

Brillo: permite ajustar el brillo de la pantalla. Tiempo espera pantalla: ajuste el tiempo de espera de la pantalla. KnockON: active esta opción para permitir que la función KnockON encienda y apague la pantalla. Pulse dos veces rápidamente el centro de la pantalla para encenderla. Pulse dos veces la barra de estado, un área vacía en la pantalla de inicio o la pantalla de bloqueo para apagar la pantalla. Para obtener mejores resultados, no mueva la tableta mientras usa la función KnockON.
Botones táctiles frontales: establezca las teclas táctiles frontales mostradas en la parte inferior de todas las pantallas. Establezca las teclas que se mostrarán, su posición en la barra y su aspecto. Seleccione las teclas y el orden, el tema y el fondo. Nube Toque Añadir cuenta para usar la función de nube. Usuario Active esta opción para mostrar el nombre del propietario en la pantalla de bloqueo. Pulse para introducir el texto que se mostrará como mensaje personal. Añadir usuario: le permite añadir una nueva cuenta al tableta y utilizar la función multiusuario. Ubicación Modo Alta exactitud: utiliza el GPS, la conexión Wi-Fi y las redes móviles para calcular su ubicación.
Encriptar almacenamiento de tarjeta SD: le permite encriptar los datos que contenga la tarjeta MicroSD a efectos de seguridad. Escritura de contraseña visible: muestra el último carácter de la contraseña oculta a medida que la escribe. Administradores de dispositivos: permite visualizar o desactivar los administradores de la tableta. Orígenes desconocidos: ajuste predeterminado para instalar aplicaciones que no procedan de Play Store.
Servicio LG Backup: realiza una copia de seguridad de toda la información del dispositivo y la restaura en caso de que se pierdan o se sustituyan los datos. Restaurar datos de fábrica: restablece los ajustes con los valores de fábrica y elimina todos sus datos. Si restablece la tableta de esta forma, se le solicitará que vuelva a introducir la misma información que la primera vez que inició Android. Ajuste de color: le permite mostrar la pantalla con un contraste de color más alto. Toque el selector para activar esta función. Zoom táctil: le permiten ampliar y reducir la imagen pulsando la pantalla con tres dedos. Protectores de pantalla: establezca la pantalla para que muestre una sombra en negro.
Conexión a PC Seleccionar método de conexión USB: ajuste el modo que desee: Cargar tableta, Sincronizar medios (MTP), Software LG o Enviar imagen (PTP). Preguntar al conectar: se pregunta el modo de conexión USB al conectarse a un ordenador. Ayuda: ayuda con la conexión USB. LG Backup Acerca de la copia de seguridad y restauración de los datos del dispositivo Se recomienda crear y guardar regularmente un archivo de copia de seguridad en el medio de almacenamiento interno, especialmente antes de actualizar cualquier software. El mantenimiento de un archivo de copia de seguridad actualizado en la memoria de almacenamiento puede permitir recuperar los datos del dispositivo si lo pierde, se lo roban o resulta dañado por un problema imprevisto.

Guidelines for safe and efficient use Please read these simple guidelines. Not following these guidelines may be dangerous or illegal. Should a fault occur, a software tool is built into your device that will gather a fault log. This tool gathers only data specific to the fault, such as signal strength and applications loaded. The log is used only to help determine the cause of the fault.
• The highest SAR value for this device when worn on the body, as described in this user guide, is 0.720 W/kg. • This device meets RF exposure guidelines when used either in the normal use position against the ear or when positioned at least 0.00 cm away from the body. When a carry case, belt clip or holder is used for body-worn operation, it should not contain metal and should position the product at least 0.00 cm away from your body.
• Do not disassemble this unit. Take it to a qualified service technician when repair work is required. • Repairs under warranty, at LG's discretion, may include replacement parts or boards that are either new or reconditioned, provided that they have functionality equal to that of the parts being replaced. • Keep away from electrical appliances such as TVs, radios and personal computers. • The unit should be kept away from heat sources such as radiators or cookers. • Do not drop.
• Do not keep the device next to credit cards or transport tickets; it can affect the information on the magnetic strips. • Do not tap the screen with a sharp object as it may damage the tablet. • Do not expose the device to liquid or moisture. • Use accessories like earphones cautiously. Do not touch the antenna unnecessarily. • Do not use, touch or attempt to remove or fix broken, chipped or cracked glass. Damage to the glass display due to abuse or misuse is not covered under the warranty.
Efficient device operation Electronics devices All tablet device may receive interference, which could affect performance. • Do not use your tablet device near medical equipment without requesting permission. Avoid placing the tablet over pacemakers, for example, in your breast pocket. • Some hearing aids might be disturbed by tablet device. • Minor interference may affect TVs, radios, PCs etc. Road safety Check the laws and regulations on the use of tablet device in the area when you drive.
Avoid damage to your hearing NOTE: Excessive sound pressure from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not listen at high volume levels for long periods • Damage to your hearing can occur if you are exposed to loud sound for long periods of time. We therefore recommend that you do not turn on or off the tablet close to your ear. We also recommend that music volumes are set to a reasonable level.
Potentially explosive atmospheres • Do not use your tablet at a refueling point. • Do not use near fuel or chemicals. • Do not transport or store flammable gas, liquid or explosives in the same compartment of your vehicle as your tablet device or accessories. In aircraft Wireless devices can cause interference in aircraft. • Turn your tablet off before boarding any aircraft. • Do not use it on the ground without permission from the crew.
• Do not disassemble or short-circuit the battery. • Recharge the battery if it has not been used for a long time to maximise usability. • Do not expose the battery charger to direct sunlight or use it in high humidity, such as in the bathroom. Do not leave the device in hot or cold places, as this may deteriorate battery performance. • There is risk of explosion if the battery is replaced with an incorrect type. • Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions.
How to update your tablet Access to latest firmware releases, new software functions and improvements. • Update your tablet without a PC. Select Update Center > Software Update. • Update your tablet by connecting it to your PC. Disposal of your old appliance 1 All electrical and electronic products should be disposed of separately from the municipal waste stream via designated collection facilities appointed by the government or the local authorities. 2 The correct disposal of your old appliance will help prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health.
Important notice Please read this before you start using your tablet! Please check to see whether any problems you encountered with your tablet are described in this section before taking the tablet in for service or calling a service representative. 1. Tablet Memory You need to check your tablet memory and delete some data, such as applications to make more memory available. To uninstall applications: 1 Tap > > Apps tab > Settings > Apps.
WARNING To protect your tablet and personal data, only download applications from trusted sources, such as Play Store™. If there are improperly installed applications on your tablet, the tablet may not work normally or a serious error may occur. You must uninstall those applications and all associated data and settings from the tablet. 3. Using an unlock pattern Set an unlock pattern to secure your tablet. Tap > > Apps tab > Settings > Display > Lock screen > Select screen lock > Pattern.

Caution: If you perform a hard reset, all user applications and user data will be deleted.
WARNING If you perform a Hard Reset, all user applications, user data and DRM licenses will be deleted. Please remember to backup any important data before performing a Hard Reset. 5. Opening and switching applications Multi-tasking is easy with Android, you can keep more than one application running at the same time. There is no need to quit an application before opening another one. Use and switch between several open applications.

22 Front-Facing Camera lens Use to take pictures and record videos of yourself. You can also use this for video chatting. Keep it clean for optimal performance. microSD Card Slot Insert microSD Card for storing files such as music, videos and photos. Earphone Jack Allows you to plug in an optional headset for convenient, hands-free conversations. You can also plug in headphones to listen to music.
WARNING Placing a heavy object on the tablet or sitting on it can damage the LCD and touch screen functions. Do not cover the LCD Ambient Light Sensor with protective film. This could cause the sensor to malfunction. TIP! • Tap the Menu Key whenever you open an application to check what options are available. • If the device is locked and does not work, press and hold the Power/ Lock Key for 8 seconds to turn it off. Charging your tablet A rechargeable Li-ion battery is used to power your tablet.
1 Connect the USB adapter and USB cable. 2 Plug the USB cable (as shown below) into the tablet’s Charger/USB port. 3 Plug the charger into an electrical socket. NOTE: The battery must be fully charged initially to improve battery lifetime. Optimizing Battery Life You can extend your battery’s life between charges by turning off features that you don’t need to run constantly in the background. You can also monitor how applications and system resources consume battery power.
• Some applications you have downloaded may cause your battery power to be reduced. • While using downloaded applications, check the battery charged level. To view the battery charge level 1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > About tablet > Battery. 2 The battery status (charging or discharging) and level are displayed on the top menu of the screen. To monitor and control what uses the battery 1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > About tablet > Battery > Battery use.
2 Place your fingernail in the cutout and pull the microSD card tray out. Insert the microSD card into the slot with the contacts facing down. Carefully push the tray gently into the device. Removing the microSD card To safely remove the microSD card from your tablet, first you need to unmount it. 1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Storage > Unmount SD card. 2 Gently pull the microSD card from the slot. Warning! Do not remove the microSD card without unmounting it first.
Formatting the microSD card Warning! All files stored on your microSD card are deleted when you format the card. 1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Storage. 2 Tap Erase SD card (twice). 3 If you set an unlock pattern, enter it and tap Erase everything. The card will then be formatted and ready to use. NOTE: If there is content on your microSD card, the folder structure may be different after formatting since all the files will have been deleted.
Your Home screen Touch Screen tips Here are some tips on how to navigate on your tablet. NOTE: • To select an item, touch the center of the icon. • Do not press too hard; the touch screen is sensitive enough to pick up a light, yet firm touch. • Use the tip of your finger to touch the option you want. Be careful not to touch any other keys. Tap or touch A single finger tap selects items, links, shortcuts and letters on the on-screen keyboard.
Swipe or slide To swipe or slide, quickly move your finger across the surface of the screen, without pausing when you first touch it (so you don’t drag an item instead). For example, you can slide the screen up or down to scroll through a list, or browse through the different Home screens by swiping from left to right (and vice versa). Double-tap Double-tap to zoom on a web page or a map. For example, quickly doubletap a section of a web page to adjust that section to fit the width of the screen.
KnockON The KnockON feature allows you to double-tap the screen to easily turn the screen on or off. • Quickly double-tap the center of the screen to turn the screen on. • Quickly double-tap the Status Bar, an empty area on the Home screen, or the Lock screen to turn the screen off. NOTE: • You can disable this feature in the Display settings. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Settings > Display > KnockON > tap the KnockON checkbox.
NOTE: Some screen images may be different depending on your region. On your Home screen, you can view menu icons at the bottom of the screen. Menu icons provide easy, one-touch access to the functions you use the most. Status bar – Shows device status information, including the time, signal strength, battery status, and notification icons. Application icons – Tap an icon (application, widget, folder, etc.) to open and use it. Quick keys – Provide easy, one-touch access to the functions used most often.
Customizing the Home screen You can customize your Home screen by adding apps, downloads, widgets or wallpapers. For more convenience using your tablet, add your favorite apps and widgets to the Home screen. To add items on your Home screen: 1 Touch and hold the empty part of the Home screen. 2 Tap the Apps or Widgets tab. 3 Drag the desired item to the desired location and lift your finger. To remove an item from the Home screen: Touch and hold the icon you want to remove, drag it to finger.
Notifications Notifications alert you to the arrival of new messages, calendar events, and alarms, as well as to ongoing events, such as video downloads. From the Notifications Panel, you can view your tablet’s current status and pending notifications. When a notification arrives, its icon appears at the top of the screen. Icons for pending notifications appear on the left, and system icons showing things like Wi-Fi or battery strength on the right.
Quick Settings Bar – Flick right or left to scroll through the list. QSlide Apps Bar – Tap to activate a QSlide feature. Slide to the left and right to adjust the Brightness of the screen or Volume. Quick Settings on Notification Panel Use Quick Settings to easily toggle function settings like Wi-Fi. The Quick Settings are located at the top of the Notifications Panel. NOTE: Touch and hold an icon in the Quick Settings Bar to view the function's settings menu.
Using the QSlide apps Tap any of the QSlide apps in the bar to activate it. When activated, the QSlide feature opens the application in a window in the foreground, allowing you to access other applications in the background. You can open up to two QSlide windows at a time. Indicator icons on the Status Bar Indicator icons appear on the Status Bar at the top of the screen to report calendar events, device status and more.

Tablet owner privileges • Only the tablet owner ID can add a new user log in ID and remove user IDs. • Only the tablet owner ID can access and use the microSD card. • The Tablet owner can uninstall any of the user's apps. Multiple tablet user limitations • All users share the same battery, internal memory, and data usage with all of the other users. • The language settings set by one user applies to all of the other users. • Each user can configure and use only their own content and data (e.g.
Slide Aside Use three-finger swipe to save running apps to the left or bring them back to the display. To bring them back later, some apps may restart. You can save up to three apps. 1 While an application is open, place three fingers on the screen and slide to the left. The current screen is saved and the Home screen appears. 2 To re-open the saved apps, place three fingers on the screen and slide to the right. Tap the desired app you want to open.
NOTE: You can edit the applications to display on the panel and set not to show the applications panel. Tap > > Settings > Accessory. Capturing a Screenshot Press and hold the Volume Down key and Power/Lock Key at the same time for around 2 seconds to capture a screenshot. To view the captured image, go to Apps > Gallery > Screenshots Folder. TIP! You cannot capture a camera/video screen.
Entering Text You can enter text using the on-screen keyboard. The on-screen keyboard appears automatically on the screen when you need to enter text. To manually display the keyboard, simply touch a text field where you want to enter text. Using the keypad & entering text Tap once to capitalize the next letter you type. Double-tap for all caps. Tap to switch to the numbers and symbols keyboard. Tap to use the handwriting function. Tap to enter a space.
Google account setup When you first turn on your tablet, you have the opportunity to activate the network, to sign into your Google Account and select how you want to use certain Google services. To set up your Google account • Sign into a Google Account from the prompted set-up screen. OR • From the Home screen, tap Apps > Apps tab > Settings > Accounts & sync > Add account > Google. If you have a Google account, touch Existing, enter your email address and password, then touch .
Connecting to Networks and Devices Wi-Fi With Wi-Fi, you can use high-speed Internet access within the coverage of the wireless access point (AP). Enjoy wireless Internet using Wi-Fi, without extra charges. Connecting to Wi-Fi networks To use Wi-Fi on your tablet, you need to access a wireless access point or ‘hotspot’. Some access points are open and you can simply connect to them. Others are hidden or use security features; you must configure your tablet to be able to connect to them.
Bluetooth You can use Bluetooth to send data by running a corresponding application, but not from the Bluetooth menu as on most other mobile phones. NOTE: • LG is not responsible for the loss, interception or misuse of data sent or received via the Bluetooth wireless feature. • Always ensure that you share and receive data with devices that are trusted and properly secured. If there are obstacles between the devices, the operating distance may be reduced.
NOTE: Your tablet doesn't support Handsfree Profile. Therefore, the use of call features with some of accessories such as Bluetooth headsets or Bluetooth-enabled devices may not be available for this device. Send data using the Bluetooth wireless feature 1 Open the item and tap . OR Touch and hold the item and select Share. OR Open the item and tap the Menu Key > Share. 2 Tap Bluetooth to share via Bluetooth. NOTE: The method for selecting an option may vary by data type.
SmartShare You can use the SmartShare feature easily in the Gallery, Music, Videos, etc. Enjoying the content via a variety of devices You can share your tablet's content with a variety devices. Tap the content in the Gallery, Music, Videos, POLARIS Office 5. to share Playing/Sending Play – You can play the content via a TV, a Bluetooth speaker or etc. Beam – You can send the content to the device of Bluetooth and SmartShare Beam supported.
Searching other devices Tap Nearby devices, then you can see the DLNA-supported devices. Connect to the device to view the content. Using the content from the Cloud You can use the content from the cloud (i.e., Dropbox) in the Gallery, Music, Videos, etc. Using the Cloud NOTE: The supported features may vary depending on the cloud. Retrieving data may take some time depending on the cloud. 1 2 3 4 Select Cloud in the Gallery, Music, Videos, etc. Select the cloud what you want to use and log in.
3 You can now view the mass storage content on your PC and transfer the files. Synchronize with Windows Media Player Ensure that Windows Media Player is installed on your PC. 1 Use the USB cable to connect the tablet to a PC on which Windows Media Player has been installed. 2 Select the Media sync (MTP) option. When connected, a pop-up window will appear on the PC. 3 Open Windows Media Player to synchronize music files. 4 Edit or enter your device’s name in the pop-up window (if necessary).
Contacts You can add contacts on your tablet and synchronize them with the contacts in your Google Account or other accounts that support syncing contacts. Searching for a contact 1 From the Home screen, tap Contacts to open your contact list. 2 Tap the Search contacts box and enter the contact's name. You can also tap a letter along the left side of the screen to access names starting with the chosen letter. Adding a new contact 1 From the Home screen, tap Contacts . 2 Tap the .
3 Tap the star to the right of the contact’s name. The star turns gold and the contact is added to your favorites. To remove a contact from your favorites list 1 From the Home screen, tap Contacts to open your contacts. 2 Tap the Favourites tab to view your favorite contacts. 3 Tap a contact to view its details. 4 Tap the gold star to the right of the contact’s name. The star turns grey and the contact is removed from your favorites.
E-mail You can use the E-mail application to read emails from services like Gmail. The E-mail application supports the following account types: POP3, IMAP and Exchange. Your service provider or system administrator can provide you with the account settings you need. Managing an E-mail account Tap the Email on the Home screen. The first time you open the E-mail application, a set-up wizard opens to help you to set up an E-mail account. After the initial setup, E-mail displays the contents of your inbox.
Working with account folders Open the E-mail application and tap the Menu Key and select Folders. Each account has an Inbox, Outbox, Sent and Drafts folder. Depending on the features supported by your account’s service provider, you may have additional folders. Composing and sending E-mail 1 While in the E-mail application, tap Write . 2 Enter an address for the message’s intended recipient. As you enter text, matching addresses will be proposed from your Contacts.
Camera To open the Camera application, tap Camera on the Home screen. Getting to know the viewfinder Swap camera – Switch between the camera lens and the front–facing camera lens. Record Mode – Allows you to choose a record mode to define how the video will be recorded. Settings – Touch this icon to open the settings menu. See Using the advanced settings on the following page. Video mode – Tap (or slide) to toggle between Camera mode and Video mode. Capture – Takes a picture.
Using the advanced settings In the viewfinder, tap to open the advanced options. After selecting the option, tap the Back Key . Take photos by voice command. Defines and controls the amount of sunlight entering the photo. Focuses on a specific spot. Selects photo resolution. If you choose high resolution, file size will increase, which means you will be able to store fewer photos in the memory. The ISO rating determines the sensitivity of the camera's light sensor.
Set a shutter sound. Set the Volume Key whether to use for the capture or zoom. Set the storage location for your pictures. Choose from Internal memory and SD card. Opens the help guide to know how a function operates. Restores all camera default settings. TIP! • When you exit the camera, some settings return to their defaults, such as white balance, color effect, timer and scene mode. Check these before you take your next photo.
Once you've taken a photo 1 Tap the image preview in the lower-right corner of the screen to view the last photo you captured. 2 Tap Gallery, then tap Always or Just once. Touch to share your photo using the SmartShare function. Touch to take another photo immediately. Touch to send your photo to others or share it via social network services. Touch to delete the photo. TIP! If you have a social networking account and set it up on your tablet, you can share your photo with your social networking community.
Slideshow – Automatically shows you the images in the current folder one after the other. Add location – To add the location information. Details – Find out more information about the contents. Viewing your saved photos You can access your saved photos when in camera mode. Just tap the image preview in the bottom of the screen and your Gallery will be displayed. 1 Choose the app to use to view and/or edit your photos. Tap Gallery or Photos. 2 Tap Always or Just once.
Video camera To open the video camera, tap Camera on the Home screen, then tap the Video mode icon (on the viewfinder) to switch to video mode. Getting to know the viewfinder Swap camera – Switch between the camera lens and the front–facing camera lens. Shot mode – Defines how the shot will be taken. Settings – Touch this icon to open the settings menu. See Using the advanced settings on the following page. Camera mode – Touch and slide up this icon to switch to camera mode.
TIP! When recording a video, place two fingers on the screen and pinch to use the Zoom function. NOTE: Ensure the microphone is not blocked when recording a video or audio clip. Using the advanced settings Using the viewfinder, touch to open all the advanced options. Tap to set the size (in pixels) of the video you are recording. Defines and controls the amount of sunlight entering the video. Prevent shaking while video recording to get high video quality.
Recording a quick video 1 Open the Camera application and touch the Video mode icon . 2 The video camera viewfinder appears on the screen. 3 Holding the tablet, point the lens towards the subject you wish to capture in your video. 4 Touch once to start recording. 5 A timer showing the length of the video will appear. 6 Touch on the screen to stop recording. After recording a video Tap the image preview at the bottom of the screen to view the last video you recorded.
Watching your saved videos Access your saved videos when in video camera mode by tapping the image preview in the lower-right corner of the viewfinder. 1 In the viewfinder, tap the image preview in the lower-right corner of the screen. 2 Your Gallery will appear on the screen with your most recent recorded video displayed. Swipe to the left to scroll to your other videos. 3 Tap the Play icon on a video to play it automatically. NOTE: You can also view your videos in the Gallery app or the Videos app.
Multimedia Gallery You can store multimedia files in internal memory for easy access to all your multimedia files. Use this application to view multimedia files like pictures and videos. 1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Apps tab > Gallery . You can manage and share all your image and video files with Gallery. NOTE: • Some file formats are not supported, depending on the software installed on the device. • Some files may not play properly, depending on how they are encoded.
Zooming in and out Use one of the following methods to zoom in on an image: • Double-tap anywhere to zoom in. Double-tap again to return to fullscreen view. • Place two fingers anywhere on the image and spread them apart to zoom in. To zoom back out, pinch them together or double-tap the screen. Playing videos Open the Gallery app and select an album. The Play icon is displayed on video files. Tap an image to select it.
Slideshow You can view your photos in a slideshow by album or by selecting all of your photos. From the Home screen, tap Gallery . • Tap the album with the photos you want to view, then tap the Menu key > Slideshow > verify the slideshow settings > Start. • Tap the Menu key > View all files > Menu key > Slideshow > verify the slideshow settings > Start. Tap the Back key to stop playing the slideshow. Videos Your tablet has a video player that lets you play all of your favorite videos.
Touch access QSlide and display the video in small window. Touch to share your video via the SmartShare function. Touch to capture image during playing a video. Touch to lock/unlock a video screen. To change the volume while watching a video, press the Volume Keys on the right side of the tablet. Touch and hold a video in the list to access the following options: Share, Delete, Trim and Details. TIP! While watching a video, slide up and down along the left side of the screen to adjust the screen brightness.
Touch to find the files with YouTube. Touch to see the current playlist. Touch to set the current song as a favorite. Touch to share your music via SmartShare function. Touch to set shuffle mode. Touch to set repeat mode. Touch to manage the music volume. Touch to pause playback. Touch to resume playback. Touch to skip to the next track on the album or in the playlist. Touch to go back to the beginning of the song. Touch twice to return to the previous song. Touch to set the audio effect.
NOTE: • Some file formats are not supported, depending on the device software. • If the file size exceeds the available memory, an error can occur when you open files. • Music file copyrights may be protected by international treaties and national copyright laws. Therefore, it may be necessary to obtain permission or a licence to reproduce or copy music. In some countries, national laws prohibit private copying of copyrighted material.
Tools QPair By connecting your tablet and mobile phone via QPair, you can sync incoming calls, messages, and social networking notifications between your tablet and mobile phone. 1 Run QPair and tap Get started > Start on your tablet first and then run the same steps on your phone. QPair features Call notifications – Sends the tablet a notification when the phone receives a call. The notification displays the caller's number and allows you to decline the call. Message notifications – Sends the tablet a notification when the phone receives a message. Social network Notifications – Displays social networking notifications on your tablet's Status bar when it arrives on your phone.
OR Tap to run QSlide. Tap to exit the QSlide and return to full window. Tap to adjust transparency. Tap to end the QSlide. Tap to adjust the size. NOTE: The QSlide function can support up to two windows at the same time. QuickMemo The QuickMemo feature allows you to create memos and capture screen shots. Capture screens, draw on them, and share them with family and friends with QuickMemo. Creating a QuickMemo 1 Access the QuickMemo feature, slide the Status Bar downwards and touch . OR Press both of the Volume Keys at the same time for one second. 2 Select the desired menu option from Pen type, Colour, and Eraser. Then create a memo. 3 Tap to save the memo. To exit QuickMemo at any time, tap the Back Key .
NOTE: • Please use a fingertip while using the QuickMemo. Do not use your fingernail. Using the QuickMemo options The following options are available in the QuickMemo toolbar at the top of the screen. Touch to keep the current memo on the screen and use the tablet simultaneously. Selects whether to use the background screen or not. Allows you to undo and redo previous actions. Selects the pen type and the color. Erases the memo that you created.
NOTE: QuickRemote may not be available for some devices and areas. To open the QuickRemote application and set up your QuickRemote(s) 1 From the Home screen, tap the Apps > App tab > QuickRemote . You can also perform the initial set up of your QuickRemote from the Notifications Panel. Swipe the Status Bar downward, tap the QuickRemote icon . 2 Touch to select a room type and touch to add the device. 3 Select the type and brand of device, then follow the on-screen instructions to configure the device(s).
Using QuickRemote 1 From the Home screen, tap the Apps > QuickRemote to open a QuickRemote bar with all of the remotes you set up. 2 Select the remote you want by tapping its type/name at the top of the QuickRemote bar. 3 Tap the buttons on the displayed remote. NOTE: When adding remote control of TV, QuickRemote could use the INPUT button to configure appropriate remote control. When configuring the INPUT button, input source of TV could be changed.

Voice Mate You can ask Voice Mate to perform tablet functions using your voice, such as setting alarms, or searching the web. To open the Voice Mate application • From the Home screen, tap the Apps > Voice Mate . Using the Voice Mate application 1 Open the Voice Mate application. 2 Tap the Speak icon (at the bottom of the screen) to turn it on.
NOTE: • When the language setting for Voice Mate is not the same as the default language setting on your tablet, some commands such as launching apps may not work. • When entering text, you can only use letters or numbers. • Voice Mate recognizes your speech better when you speak slowly. • You can view examples of various commands by swiping the Voice Mate main screen to the left. Alarm Setting your alarm 1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Apps tab > Alarm/Clock > . 2 Set the desired alarm time.

Tasks The Tasks app can be synchronized with your MS Exchange account. You can create and manage your tasks using your tablet or from MS Outlook or MS Office Outlook Web Access. 1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Tasks . 2 Tap the Add task icon (in the upper-right corner of the screen). 3 Enter the Subject, DUE DATE, DESCRIPTION, REPEAT, and REMINDER, as necessary. 4 Tap Save. File Manager The File Manager application allows you to manage files in your internal/ external storage.
NOTE: Touch to access your list of recordings. You can listen to the saved recordings. The available recording time may differ from actual recording time. Sending the voice recording 1 Once you have finished recording, you can send the audio clip by touching . 2 Choose from any of the available methods for sharing. Task Manager You can manage your applications using Task Manager. You can easily check the number of applications that are currently running and shut down certain applications.
NOTE: You can tap Skip to ignore the registration information. 3 Tap to start a new document. 4 Tap a document type from the drop-down list, then choose a template. 5 Enter contents in the document using the tools at the top of the screen and the on-screen keyboard. 6 When you're done working on the document, tap (in the top left corner of the screen), then tap Save and Enter the document name.
Voice Search The Voice Search app allows you to search web pages using your voice instead of typing. 1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Apps tab > Voice Search . 2 Say a keyword or phrase when Speak now appears on the screen. Select one of the suggested keywords that appear. NOTE: This application may not be available depending on the region or service provider. Downloads Use the Downloads app to see what files have been downloaded. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Apps tab > Downloads .
The Web Internet Use this application to browse the Internet. Browser gives you a fast, full-color world of games, music, news, sports, entertainment and much more, right on your tablet wherever you are and whatever you enjoy. From the Home screen, tap Apps > Apps tab > Internet . Tap to go back one page. Tap to go forward one page, to the page you connected to after the current one. This is the opposite of what happens when you touch the Back Key , which takes you to the previous page.
Searching the web by voice Tap the web address field, tap , speak a keyword, and then select one of the suggested keywords that appear. NOTE: This feature may not be available depending on the region or service provider. Bookmarks To open a bookmarked web page, tap one. on the Browser toolbar and select History Tap on the Browser toolbar and select the History tab to open a web page from the list of recently-visited web pages. To clear the history, tap the Menu Key > Clear all history.
Viewing web pages Tap the address field (at the top of the screen), enter a web address or search criteria, and tap on the keyboard. Opening a page • To go to a new page, tap . • To go to another web page, tap the page you want to select it. OR From the Home screen, tap the Menu Key > System settings. 2 Select a setting category and select an option. WIRELESS NETWORKS Wi-Fi Wi-Fi – Turns on Wi-Fi to connect to available Wi-Fi networks. The list of all of the Wi-Fi networks that have been accessed. Tap one to connect to it. NOTE: Tap Search (at the bottom of the screen) to scan for available Wi-Fi networks.
Wi-Fi Direct – Allows direct connection with Wi-Fi devices without any access point. Advanced Wi-Fi – Accesses the following advanced Wi-Fi settings. Interactive tutorial – Displays some useful tutorials for the Wi-Fi function. TIP! How to obtain the MAC address To set up a connection in some wireless networks with MAC filters, you may need to enter the MAC address of your tablet in the router.
Data usage Displays the data usage. More... Allows you to share folders with other devices via wireless connection. Airplane mode – Checkmark the Airplane mode to set on. Activating Airplane mode disables all wireless connections. Wireless storage – You can manage files on your tablet in the computer or copy files to the tablet from the computer without a USB connection. Make sure that the tablet and computer are connected to the same network.
DEVICE Sound Sound profile – Choose the Sound, either Vibrate only or Silent. Volumes – Manage the volume of Notification sound, Touch feedback & system, Music, video, games and other media. Notification sound – Allows you to set your default notification ringtone. Touch sounds – Allows you to set your tablet to play a sound when you touch buttons, icons and other onscreen items that react to your touch. Screen lock sound – Allows you to set your tablet to play a sound when locking and unlocking the screen.
Lock screen Select screen lock – Set a screen lock type to secure your tablet. Opens a set of screens that guide you through drawing a screen unlock pattern. If you have enabled a Pattern lock type when you turn on your tablet or wake up the screen, you will be asked to draw your unlock pattern to unlock the screen. Screen swipe effect – Sets the screen swipe effect options.
Screen-off effect – Sets the screen-off effect. Auto-rotate screen – Set to switch orientation automatically when you rotate the tablet. Daydream – Tap the Daydream switch to toggle it On or Off. On allows the set screen saver to be displayed when the tablet is sleeping while docked and/or charging. Choose from Clock, Colors, Photo Frame, and Photo Table. NOTE: Charging might be slow while the screen saver is on. Font type – Change the type of display font. Font size – Change the size of the display font.
Total space Mount/Unmount SD card – Mounts and unmounts the microSD card from your tablet so that you can access the data stored in it, format the card, or safely remove it. This setting is dimmed if there’s no microSD card installed, if you’ve already unmounted it, or if you’ve mounted the microSD card on your computer. Erase SD card – Permanently erases everything on the microSD card and prepares it for use with your tablet.
Apps Display the list of applications such as currently running or downloaded. Swipe left and right to view one of the three tabs across the top of the screen to view detailed information for DOWNLOADED, RUNNING, and ALL applications. Tap an entry to view more information, tap Force stop, then OK to stop it from running. Slide Aside You can use three-finger swipe to save running apps to the left or bring them back to the display.
Location Mode High accuracy – Use GPS and Wi-Fi networks to estimate location. Battery saving – Use Wi-Fi networks to estimate location. Device sensors only – Use GPS to pinpoint your location. RECENT LOCATION REQUEST – Displays apps that have recently requested your location information. LOCATION SERVICES Google Location Reporting – Allows you to view your Google location settings. Security Encrypt tablet – Allows you to encrypt data on the tablet for security.
Trusted credentials – Display trusted CA certificates. Install from storage – Choose to install encrypted certificates. Clear credentials – Remove all certificates. Language & input Use the Language & input settings to select the language for the text on your tablet and to configure the on-screen keyboard, including words you've added to its dictionary. Backup & reset Back up my data – Set to backup your settings and application data to the Google server.
Accessibility Use the Accessibility settings to configure accessibility plug-ins you have installed on your tablet. NOTE: Requires additional plug-ins to become selectable. TalkBack – Allows you to set up the TalkBack function which assists people with impaired vision by providing verbal feedback. Tap the TalkBack switch at the top right corner of the screen to turn it on. Tap Settings at the bottom of the screen to adjust the TalkBack settings. Large text – Checkmark to increase the size of the text.
Read passwords – Checkmark to have verbal confirmation when inputting passwords. Accessibility settings shortcut – Sets quick, easy access to selected features when you triple-tap Home key. Text-to-speech output – Text-to-speech output provides audible readout of text, for example, the contents of text messages. PC connection Select USB connection method – Set the desired mode: Charge tablet, Media sync (MTP), LG software or Send images (PTP).
Dock Plug & Pop – Sets the Plug & Pop features for Dock. Checkmark the app panel option to automatically display the app panel when connecting a dock. Tap Edit app panel to change the applications you want to make available. Printing Allows you to print the content of certain screens (such as web pages displayed in Chrome) to a printer connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Android device.
LG Backup About backing up and restoring device data It is recommended that you regularly create and save a backup file on the internal storage, especially before updating any software. Maintaining a current backup file in storage memory may allow you to recover device data if your device is lost, stolen, or corrupted by an unforeseen issue. This LG Backup application is supported between LG smartphones and tablets, other S/W or OS versions.
LG Backup your tablet data 1 From the Home screen, tap Apps > Apps tab > LG Backup > Backup. 2 Select the check box you want to backup and select Next. 3 On the Backup Location screen, touch Internal storage or SD card, then tap Start. 4 When all selected files have been backed up, you will see the message Backup completed. Scheduling automatic backups You can also program automatic backups for the data on your tablet according to your schedule setting.
