MODEL S600C CONSOLE UNIT INSTALLATION 1. Remove the screws from the battery compartment cover. Slide down the cover to remove. 2. Plug the AC adapter to the adapter jack. The AC adapter output DC 9V, 500mA with 3.5mm diameter male plug, center 3. Install six alkaline C batteries to the battery compartment as indicated by the polarity symbols. This is a backup battery. When selecting a location for the unit, it is suggested to consider following points. i. The location should be near a standard AC outlet. ii. Cannot be seen from any entrance and is central to doors, windows, and rooms you plan to protect. iii. Never mount the unit near metal duct work or other large metal objects such as mirrors, refrigerators, washer as these objects reduce the transmission capability of the sensors. iv. Do not locate the control panel less than 3 feet (1 meter) from the floor. 6.

Note: » There will be 60 seconds exit delay after arming the unit, then you will hear a beep sound to indicate exit delay time up. * The door status (open/close) is stored in the unit. If any of the magnetic door/window transmitter was opened while the system is arming, you will hear continuous short beep sound. The zone indicator of that transmitter will ON for indication. Closing the magnetic sensor before exit delay time up, otherwise alarm will goes off after exit delay time up.

MODEL S600A MOTION DETECTOR TRANSMITTER INSTALLATION 1. Remove the screw from the battery compartment cover. Slide down the cover to remove. 2. Setting the pulse switch. (see next section for details) 3. Install an alkaline 9 volt battery. 4. Replace the battery cover and screw. 5. Proceeding the LEARN procedure. 6. Mount the motion detector transmitter Choose a suitable location and temporarily place the motion detector at the mounting location. Test the transmitting range and the coverage area.
It is suggested that you mount the unit at between 5 to 6.5 feet (1.5 to 2 meters) above the floor to get the best coverage of the intended protection area. SETTING THE PULSE SWITCH The setting of PULSE determines how many signals that converted from the motion detected by the sensor within a per-defined period before it signals the console unit. Set PULSE to 1 when you need the sensor to respond immediately, however, this setting is so sensitive that frequent alarms might occur.
Note: « Make sure the console unit is in TEST mode when you are testing. » Exit LEARN mode after you have finished testing. » It is suggested that you test the transmitter once per month to make sure the system is in normal operation. o The transmitter always ready for testing after exit LEARN mode so you can testing it whenever you want. MAGNETIC DOOR/WINDOW TRANSMITTER INSTALLATION 1. Remove the screw from the battery compartment cover, Slide down the cover to remove. 2.

Mount the magnetic sensor to the door/window and door/window frame by using the double-side tapes (included) or screws and aligned the 2 sensor pieces to be flushed and “arrow” facing “arrow at no more than 1/4” apart as shown below. MAGNETIC DOOR/WINDOW TRANSMITTER LEARNING For the first time you install battery to the magnetic door/window transmitter, it will enter the LEARN mode automatically and the indicator is ON constantly for indication. 1.
REMOTE CONTROL UNIT INSTALLATION 1. Remove the battery compartment cover by sliding it in the direction arrow. 2. Install the 12V battery (type 23A) as indicated by the polarity symbol marked in the compartment. 3. Replace the battery compartment cover. 4. Proceed the LEARN procedure, REMOTE CONTROL UNIT LEARNING After you install battery to the remote control unit, it will enter the LEARN mode automatically, 1. Press the “DISARM” and "HOME" keys simultaneous.
3. Panic alarm (A) Press the “DISARM” and “ARM” button simultaneous. The console unit will alarm immediately. 4. To disarm the console unit (A) Press the “DISARM” button, you will hear a long ‘beep’ to confirm disarming. BATTERY REPLACEMENT All devices of the system : console unit, motion detector transmitter, magnetic door/window transmitter and the remote control unit will monitor the battery condition.
3. Replace the 9V alkaline battery by a new one. 4. Position back the jumper to the IN USE position. 5. Replace the battery cover and screw. Note: « Always check the bailey status. + The transmitter may be lost from the console unit during battery replacement, if this happened, you must repeat the learn procedure of transmitter to let the console unit can recognize it again. REMOTE CONTROL UNIT When battery goes low, the LED indicator won't light up during transmission.
