Product Overview

At the heart of each PowerStar is an IR OSLON

Black Series LED from OSRAM Opto Semiconductors, which is today’s

smallest infrared LED with more than one watt of optical power. The small package with an integrated lens allows

superior, compact arrangements of very high power density. PowerStars are compact, powerful LED light sources built

on aluminium substrates for optimal thermal management. Available with 200mm wires as standard.

Black Series LED with

either a 50, 90 or 150 degree integrated silicone lens

z Up to 100,000 Hour lifetime to 70% of original brightness

z Mounting holes using M3 screws allows easy installation

z Size: (L x W x H) with 50˚ lens 20mm x 20mm x 4.2mm

z Size: (L x W x H) with 90˚ lens 20mm x 20mm x 4.0mm

z Size: (L x W x H) with 150˚ lens 20mm x 20mm x 3.1mm

z Secondary lens can be ﬁtted – check options in suitable Lens and Reﬂector section

z Suitable Heatsinks available – check options in Heatsink section

z Matching Power Supply available - check options in Power Supply section

z PowerStars can be linked together to produce longer chains

www.i-led.co.uk Important Information and Precautions zz The PowerStar’s LED, when powered up, is very powerful. Although the light may appear off, however IR is invisible to the human eye and can still damage eyes. Thus it is advised that you do not look directly at it. Turn the PowerStar away from you and do not shine into the eyes of others. zz PowerStars will overheat in operation if not attached to a suitable Heatsink. Over heating can cause failure or irreparable damage.

ILS Product ILA-HSINK-STAR-50X20MM. No Heatsink, in free air ILS has a series of Aluminium Alloy Heatsinks to be used with our standard range of PowerStars and PowerClusters. These Heatsinks are supplied with fixing screws for the light engine and for fixing to a base plate.
