AB / Y Switcher
Introduction
The AB/Y Switcher is a useful compact signal routing box.
A/B-Y switching works in two ways:
(1) it enables routing one source signal (guitar, bass or key-
board) between two ampliers or amp channels, or to both
amps simultaneously, and
(2) it allows selecting between two source signals (e.g.,
two guitars) into the same amplier, or to use both sources
simultaneously. Two LEDs indicate whether A, B or Y rout-
ing has been selected. The Y routing combines both the A
and B outputs in parallel so, for example, that two ampliers
can be driven at a time, or it combines two source signals so
that two guitars can be used simultaneously with one amp.
The AB/Y switcher provides full A/B-Y switching functional-
ity, plus two parallel in/out jacks. Connecting source signals
to amp inputs in parallel can aect audio levels and might
require readjusting your volume controls.

This device is used for routing audio signals. Any other use or use
under other operating conditions is considered to be improper and

ard! Ensure that children do not detach any small parts (e.g. knobs or
the like) from the product. They could swallow the pieces and choke! Never let
children use electrical devices unattended.
For the transport and protective packaging, environmentally friendly
materials have been chosen that can be supplied to normal recycling.
Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do
not just dispose of these materials with your normal household waste, but
make sure that they are collected for recycling. Please follow the notes and
markings on the packaging.

pose of your old device with your normal household waste. Dispose of
this product through an approved waste disposal rm or through your
local waste facility. Comply with the rules and regulations that apply in your
