The SKINTOP
®
MS / MSR, a nickel-plated brass cable gland which combines high quality
with regard to consistency and reliability, is especially designed for use in manufacturing
of machines and equipment, in measuring, controlling as well as in the pharmaceutical
industry and for medical equipment.
The gland make-up consists of:
Gland body with lamellar design nickel-plated brass
Cap nut nickel-plated brass
Insert with lamellar design plastic polyamide-based
Seal insert elastomere
Sealing ring elastomere
Technical features:
Connecting thread: PG 7 up to PG 48 in acc. to DIN 40 430
Functional thread: PG 7 up to PG 48 in acc. to DIN 40430
IP protection: IP 68 - 5 bar, test in acc. to EN 60 529
Temperature range: - 25° C up to + 100° C
Type: MS = standard;
MSR = standard with reducing seal insert
Recommended torque rates in acc. to DIN VDE 0619
PG 7 – PG 13.5 6.25 Nm
PG 16 7.5 Nm
PG 21 – 48 10.0 Nm
