1: Introduction The RC7611-1 is an industrial-grade LGA 239-pad module that provides voice and data connectivity on LTE networks. The module also provides GNUS functionality as a ROKU-configuration. Accessories A hardware development kit is available for Primeval AC Series modules. The kit contains hardware components for evaluating and developing with the module, including: + Development board e Cables = Antennas (additional antennas may be required to support all bands) = Other accessories Rev 1.
2: Power Power Supply The host provides power to the RC7811-1 through multiple power and ground pins. The host must provide safe and continuous power at all times; the module does not have an independent power supply, or protection circuits to guard against electrical Issues. For detailed pin out and crosscurrent requirements of this module, sea the AC7611-1 Product Technical Specification. Module Power States The module has four basic power states, as described in Table 2-1.
Power Table 2-1: Supported Power States PSM (Power Saving Mode) GFP Release 12 introduced network support of PEM. PEM allows the module In negotiate, with the network, an extended period during which registration context with the network Is retained while the module Is unreachable. During the negotiated period, the module enters a very low power dormant stale.

4: Routing Constraints and Recommendations This section describes general routing constraints and recommendations for the ACTUATE-1. Soto: This is a non-exhaustive list of suggested design guidelines. The developer iy responsible for deciding whether lo implement theses guidelines. General Rules and Recommendations Clock and other high-frequency digital signals (e.g. serial buses) should be routed as far as possible from the modules analog signals.
Routing Constraints and Recommendations Antenna Cilantro, Inc. strongly recommends working with an antenna manufacturer either fo develop an antenna adapted to the application, or to adapt an existing solution to the application. For information on routing constraints for the AF circuit, see RF Circuit on gaps 12. PCB Specifications for the Application Board Sensitive signals (such as audio, UIM, and clocks) should be protected by ground planes/fills.
Hardware Integration Guide Note: Figure 4-1 shows separate recess for VERBATIM and VAT RF. iF VAT BB end VAT RF share a single power supply, these farces should be connected, Note: For optimal decoupling, place the capacitors on the underside of the board, directly under the pins. » Filtering capacitors {100 nF to 1500 pF) are recommended near the module's power supply. = Attention should be paid to the ground trace or the ground plane on the application board for the power supply that supplies the modular.
Routing Constraints and Recommendations USE Interface When the USE interface is externally accessible, ESD protection is required on the USB_VBUS, and Signalizes. Thermal Considerations When transmitting, the RC7611-1 can generate significant amounts of heat {dus to the internal Power Amplifier} that must be dissipated in the host device for safety and performances reasons.

5: Regulatory Compliance and Industry Certifications important Notice Due io the nature of wireless communications, transmission and reception of data can never be guaranteed. Data may be delayed, corrupted have errors) or be totally lost.
Hardware Integration Guide important Compliance Information for North American Users Tha RCT811-1 has been granted modular approval for mobile applications. Integrator may use the RC7611-1 in thalami end products without additional FCC certification if they meet the following conditions. Otherwise, additional FCC approvals must be obtained. 4. The end product must use the RF race design approved with the RC7611-1. The Gerber fail of the trace design can be obtained from Cilantro upon request. 2.
Regulatory Compliance and Industry Certifications 4. The RC7611-1 may transmit simultaneously with other collocated radio transmitters within a host device, provided the following conditions are met: + Each collocated radio transmitter has been certified by FOC for mobile application. + At slats 20 om separation distance between the antennas of the collocated transmitters and the user's body must be maintained at all times. §.
