3 Overview The 6808HDxl is a high−performance audio de−embedder for 3G HD−SDI video signals. The unit can de−embed two selectable AES audio streams. 4 Connecting the 6808HDxl i Always switch off the power to each device before connecting it to your 6808HDxl. After connecting your 6808HDxl, connect its power and then switch on the power to each device. To connect the 6808HDxl as illustrated in the example in Figure 3: 1. Connect an SD/HD/3G HD-SDI source (such as an HD/SD digital video player) to the HD/SD-SDI IN BNC connector. 2. Connect the HD/SD-SDI OUT BNC connector to an SDI acceptor (such as an SDI display). 3.

Each AES digital signal contains two mono channels. For example, if group 1 audio is selected for de-embedding, output 1 contains channels 1 and 2 from group 1, and output 2 contains channels 3 and 4 from group 1.
