Description
Status Indicator Kits provide LEDs to indicate transfer switch status, including the following:
D Source Available:
d Utility power (normal)
d Generator (emergency)
D T ransfer Switch Position:
d Utility (utility power supplying the load)
d Generator (standby generator supplying the load)
D Six Load Status Indicators (GM84662--KP2--QS only):
d Four customer-supplied loads
d T wo HVAC loads
The load shed test button (GM84662--KP2--QS only) exercises the load shed relays in the sequence of assigned priority.
Both the GM84662--KP1--QS and GM84662--KP2--QS status indicator kits are designed only for the Kohler Model RXT
automatic transfer switch. The kits will not connect to or operate with any other automatic transfer switch (ATS). The
Model RXT transfer switch must be connected to a Kohler generator set equipped with the RDC2 or DC2 controller for
proper indicator LED operation.
GM84662--KP2--QS is designed only for use with a combined interface/load management board.
The indicator panel mounts on the outside of the transfer switch for clear visibility. The status indicator kits can be used
on transfer switches installed indoors or outdoors. An overhang on the enclosure protects the indicator panel and ribbon
cable opening.
