Warnings • This appliance should not be used by children or people with limited physical or mental abilities and with no experience or knowledge of its use, unless they are supervised by someone in charge of their safety or who has taught them how to use the appliance. • Children should not play with the appliance. 1. Do not connect the appliance to the mains supply until the installation is completely finished.

Instructions for installation and use This is an excessively heavy product and the movement and installation of the hood should be done by at least two or more people. Follow the instructions in this manual carefully. All responsibility is denied for problems, damage or fire to the appliance resulting in failure to comply with the instructions in this manual. Extraction Mode The hood is designed to be used in the suction version with external evacuation.
Installation Fig. 1 • Pull the handle F and remove the grease filters (1). Note: the number of grease filters can vary depending on the size of the hood. • Remove the screws that hold on the upper lids (the 900mm width model has 1 lid, models with a larger width come with 2 lids, right and left) (2). Note: the screws to be removed can be found in the positions indicated by the arrows in fig. 1.1 and 1.2 (only the 900mm width model). • Remove the cladding (3).
Installation Fig. 2 • Attach the perforation layout to the wall (5). • Attach the 2 brackets to the wall using 2 screws and 2 plugs (6) for each one. • Hang the hood on the brackets (7). • Adjust the distance (8) and horizontal position (9) of the hood, using the specific screws. • From inside and, from the outside of the hood, mark the holes for the final fitting (10). Note: see layout of the back of the hood with the final position of the holes/plugs/screws (Fig. 2.1). • Remove the hood (11).
Installation Fig. 3 • Attach a venting exhaust pipe (purchased seperately) to the connection ring (17). • Connect up the electrics (18). • Attach the upper chimney using 2 screws (19A) to the bracket (19B). • Lower the lower chimney section (20) and attach it to the upper side of the hood with 2 screws (21 – Fig. 3.1).
Installation Fig. 4 • Replace the cladding above the hood and attach them from the inside of the hood (22). Note: the screws must be inserted in the positions indicated by the arrows in fig. 4.1 and 4.2 (only the 900mm width model). • Replace the grease filters.
Functioning Turn to maximum speed when there is a lot of steam in the kitchen. We would advise you to turn the suction on 5 minutes before starting to cook and leave it running after you have finished cooking for about another 15 minutes. The hood comes with a control panel that includes an extraction speed control and control for turning on the light to illuminate the hob. Maintenance Always disconnect the power supply before carrying out any kind of maintenance work.
After-Sales Service Before calling Customer Care Centre: 1. See if you can solve the problem yourself with the help of the “Troubleshooting guide”. 2. Switch off the hood for a few minutes and restart it to see if the problem has cleared itself. 3. If the malfunction persists, call the Customer Care Centre Service.
