CARING FOR YOUR COOKWARE
USING YOUR COOKWARE
Cleaning Cookware
General Cleaning Guidelines
To remove heavy or burnt on residue,
allow cookware to cool to lukewarm and
wash with warm or hot sudsy water. Rinse
well before hand washing or placing in
dishwasher. Never place a hot pan in cold
or even warm water to soak or clean.
Use liquid dishwashing detergent with
a sponge, nylon pad or dish cloth when
cleaning cookware. Do not use oven
cleaner, harsh detergents, chlorine bleach,
steel wool or other abrasive cleaning pads.
Remove any spotted white film or
multi-colored film (caused by minerals in
water) with a mild solution of water and
lemon juice or vinegar.
Dishwasher Safe
This KitchenAid hard anodized cookware
is dishwasher safe. For best results in
the dishwasher, use the manufacturer’s
recommended dishwasher detergents
and cycles.
Glass Lids (if included)
Glass lids may be washed in the
dishwasher. You can also wash lids in
hot, soapy water; then dry immediately
to avoid water spots.
Never use metal utensils, sharp
instruments, oven cleaners, or other
harsh abrasives that may damage or
weaken the glass.
