KW525-3U3CR – Trouble Shooting
1. When PC is at power off status, install the unit, connect the USB 3.0 20 pin mb adapter to the matching adapter on motherboard, make sure
the adapters are matching up correctly. Power on the PC, KW525-3U3CR should be able to immediately start working.
2. USB 3.0 20 pin mb adapter’s A cable is connecting directly to USB 3.0 port 1, port 1 is completely independent from USB 3.0 port 2, USB 3.0
port 3, and USB-C.
3. USB 3.0’s 20 pin mb adapter’s B cable is connecting to port 2, port 3, and USB-C through VL813 HUB controller chipset.
4. When port 1, port 2, port 3, and USB-C all don’t work, please check USB 3.0 20 pin mb adapter is connected tightly, make sure it’s not loose,
and also check motherboard’s USB 3.0 20 pin adapter is working properly.
5. When port 1 works, but port 2, port 3, USB-C don’t work, please check if C connector is connected tightly.
6. Customer can also use a separate USB 3.0 A(male) to A(male) cable connect to PC’s rear USB 3.0 port to check if product has problem or
not.
USB Hub not working – possible reason
1. Wrong installation, cables not connected correctly: inspect installation, make sure all connections are connected tightly, restart PC.
2. Cables defective, replace cables.
3. Computer’s USB 3.0 20 Pin motherboard connector is defective
4. Product defective, replace unit (last resort)
