Warranty The supplier warrants the fan motor to be free from defects in workmanship and material present at time of shipment from the factory for a lifetime after the date of purchase by the original purchaser. Installation MOUNTING OPTIONS NOTE: You may need a longer downrod to maintain proper blade clearance when installing on a steep, sloped ceiling. Assembly - Standard Ceiling Mount 1 2 Preparation for standard mounting Ƒ Remove the canopy ring (FF) from the canopy (C) by turning Ƒ Ƒ Ƒ the ring counterclockwise until it unlocks. Remove the mounting bracket (A) from the canopy (C) by loosening the two canopy screws (DD) located in the “L shaped” slots. Remove and save the two canopy screws (EE) in the round holes. This will enable you to remove the mounting bracket (A).

Ƒ Insert the silicone rubber stopper (OO) into the hole on the NOTE: The frequencies on your receiver and hand unit have been preset at the factory. Before installing the receiver, make sure the dip switches on the receiver and hand unit are set to the same frequency.

If you feel you do not have enough electrical wiring knowledge or experience, contact a licensed electrician. IMPORTANT: Use the wire connecting nuts (BB) supplied with your fan. Secure the connectors with electrical tape and ensure there are no loose strands or connections.
Assembly - Hanging the Fan (continued) 7 Wrapping the extra wire 8 Mounting the fan-motor assembly (standard mount) WARNING: When using the standard ball/downrod mounting, the tab in the ring at the bottom of the mounting bracket must rest in the groove of the hanger ball. Failure to properly seat the tab in the groove could cause damage to the wiring. NOTE: Follow this step ONLY if you did not cut the extra length off from the wires coming from the ceiling fan to the receiver.

Assembly - Attaching the Light (continued) 2 Attaching the light kit fitter assembly CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect the electrical supply circuit to the fan before installing the light fixture. Ƒ Remove one screw (PP) from the round hole in the light kit pan, and loosen, but do not remove the other two screws. Ƒ Connect the blue wire exiting the bottom of the fan motor Ƒ Ƒ Ƒ Ƒ assembly (E) with the black wire from the top of the light kit fitter assembly (I).
Assembly - Attaching the Light (continued) 4 Attaching the light kit decorative cage Ƒ Ƒ Ƒ Remove three screws (QQ) on the side of the light kit pan (F) and save them for later use. Push up the light kit decorative cage (K) to the light kit pan. Ensure the holes on the light kit decorative cage are aligning with the holes on the light kit pan. Re-install the three screws (QQ) removed in first step, and tighten them securely.
Operating Your Fan and Remote Control A. Warm weather Remote Control - Your fan is equipped with a remote control to operate the speed and lights of your new ceiling fan. Speed setting for warm or cool weather depends on factors such as the room size, ceiling height, number of fans and so on. YY The fan is shipped from the factory with the reversing switch (YY) positioned to circulate air downward.
Care and Cleaning WARNING: Make sure the power is off before cleaning your fan. Ƒ Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support connections, brackets, and blade attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. It is not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling. Ƒ Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years.

Alza el armazón decorativo del kit de luces (K) hasta la carcasa. Asegúrate de que los orificios del armazón decorativo del kit de luces queden alineados con aquellos de la carcasa. Cómo usar tu ventilador y control remoto A. Clima cálido Control remoto: Tu ventilador está equipado con un control remoto que controla la velocidad y las luces de tu ventilador de techo. Las configuraciones de velocidad para clima cálido o frío dependen del tamaño de la habitación, la altura del techo, la cantidad de ventiladores y otros factores. El ventilador se envía desde la fábrica con el interruptor de reversa (YY) colocado para hacer circular el aire hacia abajo.
Cuidado y limpieza ADVERTENCIA: Asegúrate de que la electricidad esté desconectada antes de limpiar tu ventilador. Ƒ Por causa del movimiento natural del ventilador, algunas conexiones pueden aflojarse. Revisa dos veces al año las conexiones de soporte, los soportes y los accesorios de las aspas.
