Oven Vents To remove a shelf from the oven, pull it toward you, tilt the front end upward and pull the shelf out. The oven is vented through duct openings at the rear of the cooktop. Do not block these openings when cooking in the oven--it is important that the flow of hot air from the oven and fresh air to the oven burners To replace, place the shelf on the shelf support with the stop-locks (curved extension of shelf) facing up and toward the rear of the oven.
Baking Your oven temperature is controlled very accurately using an oven control system. It is recommended that you operate the oven for a number of weeks to become familiar with you new oven's performance. If you think an adjustment is necessary, see the Adjust the Oven Thermostat section. Preheating Preheat the oven if the recipe calls for it: Preheat means bringing the oven upto the specified temperature before putting the food in the oven.
Baking Guides A uminum Foil When using prepared baking mixes, follow package recipe or instructions for the best baking results. Never entirely cover a shelf with aluminum foil. This will disturb the heat circulation and result in poor baking. A smaller sheet of foil may be used to catch a spil!over by placing it on a lower shelf several inches below the food. Cookies When baking cookies, flat cookie sheets (without sides) produce better-looking cookies.

Broiling Use of Aluminum Broiling is cooking food by direct heat from above the food. Your range has a convenient compartment below the oven for broiling, it also has a specially designed broiler pan and rack that allows the dripping fat to drain away from the high heat of tlqe gas flame. You can use aluminum foil to line your broiler pan and broiler rack. However, you must mold the foil tightly to the rack and cut slits in it just like the rack.

Let the bulb cool completely before removing it.
