SAFETY TIPS 1. 2. 3. 4. When in use, always use oven mitts or potholders when touching any outer or inner surface of the oven, or when handling accessories. To reduce risk of fire, keep oven interior clean and free of food, oil, grease, and any other combustible materials. Do not use metal utensils such as knives to remove food residue from the heating elements as this can damage the appliance as well as lead to electrocution. Do not store any materials in the oven when not in use.
BEFORE THE FIRST USE • • • • Unpack the appliance and accessories and wash and wipe everything down. Wipe the interior of the oven with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry with a paper towel. Make sure the oven is dry before operating the unit. Position the oven on a flat and heat resistant surface so that it is also positioned at least 4 inches (10cm) away from any surrounding object. Unwind and plug in the power cord into the wall outlet.
2. 3. 4. Temperature: Allows you to select the desired cooking temperature. Ranges 170° to 450°F. Timer: Allows you to select desired cooking time. The timer can be adjusted at any time during the cooking process to add or subtract time. Ranges from 1-60 minutes. Light: Press the interior light button to turn the oven light on or off. The light can be turned on at any time to help monitor your food while cooking. NOTE: Light must be turned on and off manually.
Follow the diagrams below to use your oven to the fullest and to achieve consistent and professional results. Air Fry • • • • This function is used to air fry meals as a healthy alternative to deep-frying in oil. Suggested placement is on the middle or 3rd level. For best results, use the provided air fryer basket. Flip or shake food halfway through the cooking process to cook food evenly. Air Frying does not require oil. A tablespoon of oil may be added to enhance flavor.
Tips • • When setting up the Kalorik Maxx Air Fryer Oven, always make sure the sliding crumb tray is inserted prior to starting your cooking process. Rinse and clean the sliding crumb tray by hand after every use. Not dishwasher safe. When cooking foods that may drip crumbs or grease during the cooking process, make sure to place the baking pan on the lowest slot. This will help maintain the unit as clean as possible and protect the lower heating elements. This accessory is dishwasher safe.
• 5. 6. Tip: Flipping or turning food halfway through the cooking process ensures more even results. When the countdown timer ends, a bell will ring to indicate the end of the cooking cycle, and the heating elements will turn off. Carefully take out your food with oven mitts and/or using the tray handle if cooking on the baking pan. Tip: the cooking process can be cancelled at any time by turning the timer knob to 0 or turning the function knob to OFF.

BAKE Use your Kalorik Maxx Air Fryer Oven as a conventional oven by turning the FUNCTION knob to BAKE. Place the baking tray or air rack with food inside the oven. • • • • • • • • • If using the air rack: place the baking pan on the lowest level, as there is a chance grease may drip during the cooking process. The baking pan will help catch any grease or crumbs and protect the lower heating elements.
TIP: For most foods, other than quick breads and other rising foods, another alternative to bake would be using the convection bake or air frying functions – which use a fan to evenly spread heat – to give faster and more even cooking results. Adjust time (check food 5-10 minutes before the end of the cooking cycle) and temperature (lower temperature by 10-25°F for the same recipe) accordingly when using a function with a fan to make baked goods.
• • Time can be adjusted from 1 to 60 minutes but may be changed at any time. When the timer has elapsed, a bell will ring to indicate the end of the heating process, and unit will return to OFF mode. PIZZA Use your oven to cook frozen or fresh pizza to perfection. Setting works for both thin and thick crust pizza. • • • • Place your pizza (max 12 inches) on the air rack and slide it on the 2 nd level.
TIP: We suggest broiling at 450°F for a few minutes until food is cooked and desired texture is achieved. CONVECTION ROAST Use this function to evenly roast large cuts of meat and poultry and your favorite vegetables. Ideal for whole chickens, turkeys, ham, ribs and hearty vegetables such as beets, carrots, potatoes, brussel sprouts, and more! • • • • • • • For best results use the baking pan in the first or second level. Place the food on the baking pan and slide it in the appropriate rack level.
• Be sure to not let your food sit under the Keep Warm setting for too long as you run the risk of overcooking it. When timer elapses and the bell rings, take your food out with oven mitts and enjoy! Inside cleaning • • • • To remove crumbs, pull out the sliding crumb tray from the air fryer oven, wipe clean, and place back inside. Wipe cavity with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry with paper towel. To remove baked on food, pour a little cooking oil on the food and allow to stand for five to ten minutes. This should soften the food and allow it to be removed with absorbent paper toweling or a soft cloth. Clean the inside of the glass doors with a damp soapy cloth.
