1 Important safety instructions
This manual contains important information about the Philips
remote controlled outlets. Read it carefully before you start the
installation and setup.
Warning
Do not operate your remote controlled outlets near water.
Do not operate your remote controlled outlets if liquid of any
kind is spilled onto or inside the unit.
Do not disassemble or repair.
Do not expose your remote controlled outlets to direct
sunlight or place it near wall heaters, space heaters, or enclosed
space prone to temperature increase.
The Philips remote controlled outlets require a properly
grounded outlet for safety and to protect the connected
equipment. If you are not sure whether your home’s electrical
wiring has proper grounding, consult a qualied electrician.
Caution
Risk of electrical shock! Not for use outdoors or in other wet
or damp areas, with aquariums, in hazardous environments
requiring failsafe performance (such as nuclear facilities or
aircraft), or for medical or life support equipment.
Notice for USA
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class B digital device, pursuant to part 15 of the
FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference in a residential
installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance
with the instruction manual, may cause harmful interference to
radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur
in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful
interference to radio or television reception, which can be
determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is
encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of
the following measures:
Relocate the receiving antenna.
Increase the separation between equipment and receiver.
Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different
from that to which the receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician
for help.

3 Get started
Note
To avoid any potential hazard, use the power source supplied
by your local authorities.
There are three receivers and one remote control. You can
control up to three receivers with the remote control.
1 Plug the receivers into a properly grounded outlet.
2 Plug your devices into the AC outlet of receivers.
Install/Replace remote control battery
Caution
Risk of explosion! Keep the battery away from heat, sunshine
or re. Never discard the battery in re.
Risk of product damage! When the remote control is not used
for long periods, remove the battery.
For rst-time use:
Remove the protective tab to activate the remote control
battery.
To replace remote control battery:
1 Open the battery compartment.
2 Insert one A23 battery with correct polarity (+/-) as indicated.
3 Close the battery compartment.
Control your devices
The plugged devices can be turned on or off easily by the
remote control. You can control each plugged device individually
or control all the plugged devices at the same time.
Note
The remote controlled range (open eld) is up to 40 feet.
The output rating of each receiver is 125V/13A.
Press button A to turn on/off the outlet of Receiver A.
Press button B to turn on/off the outlet of Receiver B.
Press button C to turn on/off the outlet of Receiver C.
Press button ALL ON/ALL OFF to turn on/off all the
outlets of the three receivers at the same time.
Tip
If you want to purchase more than one unit, make sure that
they have two different frequencies (1 and 2) as indicated by
stickers on the back side of packaging. You can also nd the
stickers in the battery compartment of remote control and on
the surface close to mains plug of the receivers. The remote
control of this unit operates on either Channel 1 or Channel
2 frequency.
4 One Year Limited Warranty
(USA only)
Philips warrants that this product shall be free from defects
in material, workmanship and assembly, under normal use, in
accordance with the specications and warnings, for a period
of one year from the date of purchase. This warranty extends
only to the original purchaser of the product, and are not
transferable. To exercise your rights under this warranty, you
must provide proof of purchase in the form of an original sales
receipt that shows the product name and the date of purchase.

OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES. Philips’ liability
is limited to repair or, at its sole option, replacement of the
product. Incidental, special and consequential damages are

from state to state.
