When the Security Code function is activated, the code cannot be changed and the function cannot be deactivated. Note that the Security Code can be set with a 4 to 8 digit number of your choice. APPS APPS Apple CarPlay Operation Apple CarPlay is a smarter, safer way to use your iPhone in the car. Apple CarPlay takes the things you want to do with iPhone while driving and displays them on the screen of the product. You can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to the music from iPhone while driving. You can also use Siri voice control to make it easier to operate iPhone. Bluetooth Control Bluetooth Control Using the Bluetooth function allows you to use various functions such as listening to the audio file and making/receiving a call. Information for using Bluetooth® devices Bluetooth is a short-range wireless radio communication technology for mobile devices such as smartphones/cell-phones, portable PCs, and other devices. Bluetooth devices can be connected without cables and communication with each other.
Bluetooth Control Register the Bluetooth device It is necessary to register the Bluetooth audio player or smartphone/cell-phone in this unit before using the Bluetooth function. You can register up to 10 Bluetooth devices. ■■ [Android Auto] To connect as Android Auto source. 7 Touch [ ]. hh Bluetooth pairing waiting dialog appears. NOTE • Up to 10 Bluetooth devices can be registered.
Bluetooth Control 10 Touch [Yes]. When data transmission and connection have completed, the Bluetooth connection icon appears on the screen. When to Use Each Function ●● Parametric Equalizer Use this to finely correct or improve the frequency characteristics of the acoustics of the car in order to establish a basis for adjustments.
Controlling Audio ●● High-Pass Filter Passes signals with frequencies higher than a certain frequency (fc: cutoff frequency) and attenuates signals with frequencies lower than the cutoff frequency. Use this to pass only high-frequency signals. Use this in the following cases for example: ––For extracting the frequency band for separate tweeters. By extracting the specific frequency band, level adjustment can be made to the frequency band individually.

Troubleshooting Error Messages When you fail to operate the unit correctly, the cause of the failure appears as the message on the screen. Starting tuner failed. The tuner unit is not operating correctly due to some reason or other. Turn the power off and on again. If the “Starting tuner failed.” message does not disappear, contact your nearest JVC dealer. There is an error in the speaker wiring. Please check the connections.
Troubleshooting ÑÑApple CarPlay The GPS antenna must be connected to use Apple CarPlay wirelessly. Please verify the proper connections or plug in by USB to use Apple CarPlay.
