INITIAL SETTINGS Initial setup [Camera] When you power on the unit for the first time, the initial setting screen appears. t You can also change the settings on the screen. (Page 60) [OEM SETUP] 1 Perform the initial settings. [DEMO] Touch the desired item to configure the setting. t You can scroll the screen by touching [J]/[K] to show more items. t If another setting screen is displayed, set the item, then touch [ ] to return to previous screen.

V Caution on the volume setting: Digital devices produce very little noise compared with other sources. SiriusXM® Satellite Radio SmartFavorites User stored channels (P1 to P6) of current band are recognized as SmartFavorites channels. SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner automatically buffers their broadcast content in the background. When you select a SmartFavorites channel, you can rewind and replay up to 30 minutes of any of the missed news, talk, sports or music content. t SmartFavorites is available only when you connect an SXV200 or later SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner.
SiriusXM® Satellite Radio TuneMix™ TuneMix™ plays a unique blend of songs from your preset music channels from the current SiriusXM preset band, allowing you to build a custom channel from as few as 2 to as many as 6 music channels. You can even skip songs you do not want to hear. t TuneMix™ is available only when you connect an SXV300 or later SiriusXM Connect Vehicle Tuner. Activating TuneMix™ t The Mix indicator lights up. BLUETOOTH Information for using Bluetooth® devices Connecting Bluetooth devices R Activating/deactivating the Bluetooth function When you use the Bluetooth device, activate the Bluetooth function on the unit. Bluetooth is a short-range wireless radio communication technology for mobile devices such as mobile phones, portable PCs, and other devices. Bluetooth devices can be connected without cables and communicate with each other.
BLUETOOTH Auto pairing When is set to [ON], iOS devices (such as iPhone) are automatically paired when connected via USB. CONNECTION/INSTALLATION Before installing the unit V WARNING t If you connect the ignition wire (red) and the battery wire (yellow) to the car chassis (ground), you may cause a short circuit, that in turn may start a fire. Always connect those wires to the power source running through the fuse box. t Do not cut out the fuse from the ignition wire (red) and the battery wire (yellow). The power supply must be connected to the wires via the fuse.
CONNECTION/INSTALLATION R Installation procedure 1 To prevent a short circuit, remove the key 2 3 4 5 6 from the ignition and disconnect the · battery. Make the proper input and output wire connections for each unit. Connect the speaker wires of the wiring harness. Connect the wiring harness wires in the following order: ground, battery, ignition. Connect the wiring harness connector to the unit. Install the unit in your car. t Make sure that the unit is installed securely in place.
