Widget Importing Image Files You can display image files stored in your iPhone or Android smartphone by connecting your iPhone or Android smartphone in which the “JVC Portal APP” application is installed to this unit. The image files are displayed on the photo frame widget. Also, you can set an image as the wallpaper. See Photo Frame Widget (P.18) and To register an original image (P.60). APPS APPS Apple CarPlay Operation Apple CarPlay is a smarter, safer way to use your iPhone in the car. Apple CarPlay takes the things you want to do with iPhone while driving and displays them on the screen of the product. You can get directions, make calls, send and receive messages, and listen to the music from iPhone while driving. You can also use Siri voice control to make it easier to operate iPhone. APPS Wireless Mirroring Operation You can display the same screen of the Android smartphone on the monitor of the unit using the Wireless Mirroring function of the Android smartphone. Preparation • You can use the Wireless Mirroring function with Android smartphones compatible with this function. • This function may be called Wireless Display, Screen Mirroring, AllShare Cast, etc., depending on the manufacturer. • The settings on the Android smartphone differ depending on the device type.

Bluetooth Control Bluetooth Control Using the Bluetooth function allows you to use various functions such as listening to the audio file and making/receiving a call. Information for using Bluetooth® devices Bluetooth is a short-range wireless radio communication technology for mobile devices such as smartphones/cell-phones, portable PCs, and other devices. Bluetooth devices can be connected without cables and communication with each other.

Before Installation Before installation of this unit, please note the following precautions. # WARNINGS • If you connect the ignition wire (red) and the battery wire (yellow) to the car chassis (ground), you may cause a short circuit, that in turn may start a fire.
Connection/Installation • Mount the unit so that the mounting angle is 30° or less. • Do not connect anything to the terminal printed with "NC". "NC" means "Non Connection" or "No Connecting".
