Important Notice It is unlawful in most jurisdictions for a person to drive a motor vehicle which is equipped with a television viewer or screen that is located in the motor vehicle at any point forward of the back of the driver’s seat, or that is visible, directly or indirectly, to the driver while operating the vehicle.The monitors should never be installed where they will be visible, directly or indirectly, by the operator of the motor vehicle.
Caution Be sure to run the vehicle engine while using the system. Using this system without running the engine can result in battery drain. To avoid the risk of battery drain, please remember to turn off the system when the vehicle is not in use. Do not touch the inner pins of the jacks on the front panel. Electrostatic discharge may cause permanent damage to the system.
Accessories Wireless Headphones and Remote Both of your Uconnect Theater screens come with their own Remote and Headphones. The remote is designed to help you make the most of Uconnect Theater. Use the touchpad like a mouse to navigate through the system. Or use the arrow buttons to click through the options on the screen. It’s totally up to you. Press HOME to return to the source menu or MUTE to silence the audio. You’ll find standard media controls like PLAY, FAST-FORWARD and REWIND.

On the rear of the remote control, remove the battery cover. 2. Install two “AAA” batteries as shown. The remote control is only designed to operate this device. It is not a universal remote control and will not operate any other device.

Volume Keys The remote has a method by which it can control the up/down volume output of the TV. Pressing and holding down the volume up or down button will continuously send the volume command for the respective up/down command. The number of volume steps are software configurable so that adequate testing can determine the appropriate level of steps Mute Button The remote has a mute button that toggles between mute/unmute states. Home The remote has a HOME button on the front face of thedevice.

Recent Recent button will pull up the “Recent” row screen that will allow user to switch between recently watched content. Channel Rocker Channel UP/DOWN button allows user to go to the next live TV channel. Settings Settings button will pull up a side panel overlay to provide quick access to Picture and Sound settings.

Troubleshooting Symptom Remedy Monitor does not power on. • • • Verify the vehicle is in the ON/RUN or ACC position. Verify the battery is installed in the remote control and fresh. Verify the fuse located in-line is good. Remote control does not function. • • Verify that the battery in the remote control is fresh. Verify that the remote sensor lens is not obstructed. • Try to reset the monitor. This is done by pressing and holding the power button on the top of the monitor for at least 5 seconds.
