REPEATER Model 45138
1. INTRODUCTION
The Repeater model 45138 is designed to increase the range of the sensors by boosting and
repeating signal from sensors to receiver unit.
In this package, you should find a Repeater and user’s instruction.
Please follow the instructions below to setup your Repeater.
2. INSTALLATION
POWER UP
i) Plug the repeater into an electrical outlet. The red light on the receiver should be off after being
plugged into an electrical outlet.
ii) Straight up the antenna in vertical position.
LOCATION
Put the repeater in your desired location, preferably at least 3 feet above the ground and centrally
located between the furthest sensors and the receiver unit in which it communicates. To obtain
the best performance, the environment around the repeater you placed should not be near any
other wireless devices in order to avoid interference.
PROGRAMMING
You need to do the programming in order to add the sensor to communicate with the receiver.
i) With the repeater is plugged into an electrical outlet.
ii) Press and hold the learn button on the left hand side of the repeater for approx. 15 seconds.
The red LED on the repeater will flash slowly.
iii) Activate the assigned sensor you want to program to the repeater.
iv) The repeater red LED will go off indicates the programming is completed.
TESTING
Activate your existing sensor to transmit the signal in front of the repeater. The distance between
the sensor and the repeater should be at least 1 to 2 feet. When the repeater receives and
repeats the signal, the red LED light on the repeater will flash.
