Preface Please read the follow wing guidelines before using youur new phone. Utmost compliance with the following is highly recommendded for your safety. Non-compliance may poose danger to you and your mobile phone, and may be illegal. The phoneis packed withh features to satisfy your needs succh as Phonebook, Music Player, Video Player, Diggital Camera, among others. It is Wi-Fi W and Bluetooth and also meets the GSM/GPRS technical criteria. It is certified by both local and international authorities.
1. Getting Started Switch your Mobile Phone ON / OFF To switch your mobile phone ON, press and hold the Power Key until an animation appears on the screen. Make sure the battery is charged and inserted properly. To switch OFF, press and hold the Power Key until a window pops up. Tap Power Off and the phone will shut down. Install / Remove the SIM Card and Battery Make sure to switch off the device and disconnect from charger before installing and removing the SIM card and battery.
3. Carefully insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot, making sure that the card’s gold plate is facing down and in proper alignment with the phone’s metal contacts. 4. Carefully return the battery into its slot and put the cover back on. : If the screen displays that the SIM card is locked permanently, please consult your network operator. Install / Remove the Memory Card The Memory Card is a handy mobile storage device that expands the mobile phone’s storage capacity.
1. Plug the charger into the electrical outlet. 2. Connect the t small end of the charger connnector into the mobile phone’s chharging slot. The battery indicator icoon will flash until charging is finished. When charging is complete, i.e. the batteryy charging icon stops flashing, discconnect the phone from the charger. : Do not forget to unpplug the charger from the electrical outlet o after charging. : Only use approved charger and other accessories. me may increase.
: Switching the Phone to Sleep Mode is a way to lock youur phone. Screen Lock 1.You can lock your screeen for additional security. After you set a lock, the screen is locked after the displayy goes to sleep. 2.Go to Settings Æ Secuurity Æ Screen lock. 3.Touch the type of lock you want and follow the onscreen instructions. You can choose among these lock options: Slideprovides no protecttion, but lets you get to the Home sccreen quickly. Face Unlocklets you unnlock your phone by looking at it.
Unlock Your Phone Drag the icon to thee right, depending on your screen loock pattern. : To set Screen Lock pattern, go to Menu Æ Settings Æ Security Æ Screen Lock Æ choose from opttions. Security Codes words in order to prevent The mobile phone and thhe SIM card support several passw misuse. When promptedd to enter any of the codes mentiooned below, type in the correct code and then confirm by tapping the OK key.
Basic Troubleshooting for locked SIM card: -Enter the correct PUK. You will then be prompted to enter a new PIN. -Type in the new PIN Æ OK. -Re-type the new PIN Æ OK. PUK The PUK (Personal Unlocking Key) code is required in order to modify a blocked PIN. This code usually comes with the SIM card upon purchase. Otherwise, contact your local service provider. : If you enter the wrong PUK code for 10 consecutive times, the SIM card will become invalid.
2. Overview Functions of Main Keys Menu Key – Allows you to change wallpaper/widgets manage apps, access system settings Home Key – Returns to the main screen in one touch; Tap and hold the Home Key to view recently browsed/accessed/used applications Back Key – makes the screen go back one level Touch Control Your phone is receptive to the following finger gestures: TAP – selects or launches an item or an app i.e. selecting from the menu, entering characters or text in a field.
SWIPE OR SLIDE - lets you scroll the screen up, down, left or right. It is also used when unlocking the screen. Lightly and quickly touch and slide your finger across the screen without pausing to avoid dragging an item instead. DOUBLE-TAP - lets you zoom in or out a screen Tap quickly twice on a webpage, map, or other screen to zoom. PINCH - lets you zoom in or out a screen by placing two fingers on the screen at once and pinching them together (to zoom out) or spreading them apart (to zoom in).
Auto-Rotate Screen With the Auto-Rotate Screen turned on, you will be able to view items on the screen vertically or horizontally, depending on how you hold your phone. Please note that not all screens are covered by the Auto-Rotate Screen feature. To turn the Auto-Rotate Screen feature on/off, go to Menu Æ Settings Æ Display Æ Auto-Rotate Screen Æ (uncheck) You may also drag down the Notifications panel and tap ‘Auto-rotation’ to activate or deactivate auto-rotate function.
To remove applications out of a folder back to the Home Screen Touch and hold the item in a folder, and then drag it out of the folder. Status and Notification Icons To view your phone’s notifications, simply swipe the notifications bar downwards.

This phone operates usinng radio signals, wireless and landliine networks, but cannot guarantee connection in all locations at all conditionss. Messaging To create and send message from home screen, tap ¾ Tap the new message icon at the bottom left part of the screen ¾ In TO field, type the recipient’s phone number OR tap to search from contacts. ¾ Type message in the Type message field using the on screen keyboard. ¾ Tap to insert smileys, etc.

Connect to the Internett Connect to a wireless neetwork to browse Internet. Swipe down Notificatio ons panelÆ Tap Wi-Fi to display avaailable networks. :If network connectionn is successful, the icon will appear on the status bar.Some Wi-Fi networkks are secured and may prompt yoou to enter a password before access. Enter thee correct security password and tap “Connect.” Browser To surf the Internet on yoour phone,go to Æ .
This mobile phone is equipped with a digital camera that lets you take photos and videos whenever and wherever you like. 4. Main Menu The Main Menu displays all the applications your phone has. You may access the Main menu by tapping on the Menu icon [ ] from the Home Screen. Browser Please see “Browser”. Calculator This mobile phone is equipped with a calculator to facilitate simple computations using the 4 basic functions. Tap onthe Calculator’s interface and an advanced panel will pop up for more complex calculations. Enter the numbers using on-screen keyboard and choose the desired operation. Tap to get the output.
The calendar application shows the current date/month, and lets you organize your schedule by allowing you to add, edit, delete and view events. You may also add appointments and notes as reminders. Go to Tap Æ . for options. Camera Please see “Capture and View Photo or Video” Clock This function shows the current time and date, and gives you access to the alarm clock. Go to Tap Æ to edit alarms.
This allows you to view a list of downloaded files and apps stored in the internal storage, and those currently being downloaded. To manage Downloads, go to . Æ Email You can send and receive e-mails on your phone. Tap Æ Æ set up an account by entering an existing email address and password. File Manager The File Manager lets you view, open and manage the data saved in your phone and Memory card. Go to Æ Æ choose from Phone Storage / SD Card.
FM Radio To listen to the radio, go to Æ - view channel list on/off o . - search the channnel list - Fine tune channel - Display options: Seearch, Speaker,and Record FM : A headset must be connected for the FM radio tow work.Pressside keys to adjust volume. Gallery To view captured imagees, recorded video clips, and dow wnloaded images, go to Æ . Click on a thumbnail to open o an album. Tap and hold an image to share (via Messaging, Bluetoothh, Email), delete or view details.
Tap to display other setttings. Messaging This menu allows you too read, compose, send and receive messages. The screen icon displayed in standby mode refers to received and unread u messages. Tap from the Home Sccreen to access. On the Messaginng interface, tap options. For related inforrmation, refer to “Messaging”. Music Use the Music to play muusic and audio files. Go to Æ . The songs are categorized into tabs: Artists, Albums annd Songs.

You can view, edit, delete, send messages and perform various other functions on each contact in your phonebook. The People menu allows you to store, locate and view your saved contacts. Aside from these, People also allows you to copy, edit and delete a contact.
To import contacts from email to phone or the other way around Go to Æ . Tap Æ Import/Export. Select where to import and export ÆNext Mark contacts to import/export ÆCopy. Phone The Phone menu has three tabs. The Dialer, Call Log and Contacts tabs. To access this, tap on the Home Screen. The Dial tab directs you to the dial pad where you can make calls. Please refer to “Make a Call” for related information.The Call Log tab gives you access to your phone’s call history.
This lets you manage you phone’s Voice call such as other Settings(message templates sent). Voice Search This function lets you search for any file you wish to find be it stored in your phone’s messages, apps, music folder, contacts, or the Web. Go to Æ Type your search on the search bar and tapÆ. : Another way to search: On the Home Screen, tap and type query. Tap Go to start search. : Please make sure that your phone’s Wi-Fi connection if you wish to search for something on the Internet.
Record sound and other audio files on your phone by goingg to to start recording and prress Æ . Tap to stop recording. To plaay the recently recorded sound, press ►. After pllayback, you may opt to discard or save s the recorded file. To view the recorded filees, tap Video Player This displays and lets you y view all video files stored in your y phone and in your Memory Card. To accesss, tap Æ Ætap a video to Pllay. To Pause/Play, just tap on o the video. Tap ÆStop to stop playback.
This allows you to switch your phone’s Wi-Fi capability ON or OFF. Check the Wi-Fi network by looking at the icon in the status bar. Mobile Data This allows you to switch your SIM card’s capability to transfer data ON or OFF. Charges may apply. Bluetooth Switch the Bluetooth function ON so you may establish wireless connection with other compatible devices with the Bluetooth technology. The Bluetooth may be used to send and receive different kinds of files.
Tap the device you want to pair with and operate according to the message prompt. When the owner of the device to be paired accepts the connection, the pairing is completed. TIPS: Tap your device name to make your phone discoverable if other devices try to pair with your phone. Data Usage This lets you monitor your data usage per month. Switch ON the mobile data usage function so you can monitor your mobile usage per month. You may also opt to set a limit on your mobile data usage.
This allows you to set up and manage Virtual Private Netw works (VPNs). Tap Add VPN to set up a VPN connnection via the following settings: • Add PPTP VPN: Set up a connection to a VPN with Point-to-Point P tunneling protocol. • Add L2TP VPN: Set upp a connection to a VPN with Layer 2 tunneling protocol. • Add L2TP/IPSec PSK K VPN: Set up a connection to a VPN with pre-shared key-based Layer 2/IPsecc tunneling protocol.

Mobile Networks The Mobile Networks Settings lets you control the settings of your subscriptions, and data settings as well. It also lets you enable or disable access over mobile networks and connect or disconnect to data services when roaming. Under the Device category: Audio Profiles This menu lets you customize your phone’s settings to suit your activities, lifestyle and environment.

You may also add words to your personal dictionary. Backup & Reset If activated, this sub-menu allows you to back-up your data, WLAN passwords and other settings to Google servers.
This lets you choose whether to automatically update your phone’s date and time or otherwise.You may also automatically synchronize your phone’s date and time according to your time zone. In this sub-menu, you may also set the date, time, time zone, time and format. Schedule power on & off You can set time of boot or shutdown by touching it. You may also select to repeat it or a certain day during a week.
