SAFETY MANUAL - English This safety manual contains important operating, recycling, safety, and warranty information for your Slate device (hereinafter “the Slate” or the “Product”), purchased by a corporate or individual Customer (hereinafter the “Customer” or “you”) from the ISKN SAS company (hereinafter “ISKN” or “we”). An individual Customer means any natural person acting for purposes that do not fall within the scope of his trade, industry, craft, or profession.
Operating Instructions Please read and save these operating instructions, heed all warnings, and follow all instructions. ISKN shall not be liable for any claim if you fail to comply with these operating instructions. 1. Do not use the Product near water or moisture. 2. Clean only with a dry cloth. 3. Do not install the Product near any heat sources, such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or any other appliances (including amplifiers) that produce heat. 4.
9. Cleaning the Slate To clean the exterior of the Product, first unplug the cord, and then wipe the surface with a dry cloth. Do not use detergents, abrasive cleaners, or other cleaning products, which may scratch the surface and hurt performance. Do not get the device wet. 10. Disposal and Recycling Electronic equipment and batteries should not be included as household waste but should be left at an appropriate collection point for recycling.
Applicable Regulations This device complies with FCC and IC radiation exposure limits set forth for general population. This device must not be co-located or operating in conjunction with any other antenna or transmitter. This radio transmitter can function with the maximum (or less) antenna type and gain approved by Industry Canada for the transmitter.
