The IBM Wireless LAN Mini PCI Adapter installed within the IBM 7054 Mobile Tablet
for Retail must be used in strict accordance with the following instructions. This product
complies with the following radio frequency standards.

This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital
device, pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide
reasonable protection against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a
commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and can radiate radio
frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual,
may cause harmful interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in
a residential area is likely to cause harmful interference in which case the user will be
required to correct the interference at his own expense. IBM is not responsible for any
radio or television interference caused by unauthorized changes or modifications to this
equipment. Unauthorized changes or modifications could void the user’s authority to
operate the equipment.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the
following two conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this
device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause
undesired operation.
Exposure to Radio Frequency Energy
The radiated output power of the Wireless LAN Mini-PCI Card authorized for use in the
IBM 7054 Mobile Tablet for Retail is far below the FCC radio frequency exposure limits.
Nevertheless, the IBM 7054 Mobile Tablet for Retail shall be used in such a manner that
the potential for human contact during normal operations is minimized.
Interference Statement
An improper installation or unauthorized use may cause harmful interference to radio
communications. Also, any tampering with the internal antenna will void the FCC
certification and your warranty.
