INITIAL SETUP
1. Place your iPad on a flat surface, next to iCade Core. Do not place iPad into iCade
CORE yet.
2. Turn on iPad. On iPad go to Settings > General > Bluetooth.***
3. Slide the Bluetooth slider to "On" if it is not already set.
4. Place iCade CORE adjacent to iPad, then hold down the bottom 4 buttons and the top
white button (6, 8, 0, and both Enter buttons) simultaneously for 4 seconds then
release them.
5. On iPad, "ION iCade CORE Game Controller" will appear as a Bluetooth device (not
paired). Tap to select it.
6. iPad will display a passcode. Refer to the iCade CORE control mapping (at the top of
this poster), and use the controls to enter the passcode. When finished, press one of
iCade CORE’s white buttons.

8. Place iPad in iCade CORE cradle, download one of the hundreds of compatible games
and enjoy your ION iCade CORE!
Notes:
iCade CORE has no power switch. It is powered on anytime you are moving its controls.

simply move any of its controls. Both iCade and iPad will turn on again.
After iCade CORE is connected to iPad as a Bluetooth device, you can remove iPad,
move it to another location, turn it off, etc. Next time you want to use iCade with the
same iPad, they will automatically pair when they are within range of each other.

Bluetooth connection – repeat the INITIAL SETUP steps.
