ENGLISH 7 Safety instructions Installation • Remove all the packaging and the transit bolts. • Keep the transit bolts. When you move the appliance again you must block the drum. • Always be careful when you move the appliance because it is heavy. Always wear safety gloves. • Do not install or use a damaged appliance. • Obey the installation instruction supplied with the appliance. • Make sure that the floor where you install the appliance is flat, stable, heat resistant and clean.

Risk of injury or damage to the appliance. • Do not sit or stand on the open door. • Do not dry dripping wet clothes in the appliance. ENGLISH 9 Detergent dispenser drawer Compartment for detergent used for prewash and soak phase or for stain remover used during the stain action phase (if available). The prewash and soak detergent is added at the beginning of the wash programme. The stain remover is added during the stain action phase. Compartment for powder or liquid detergent used for main wash. If using liquid detergent pour it just before starting the programme. Compartment for liquid additives (fabric softener, starch).

ENGLISH 11 Display A B The display shows the following information: A) Child safety lock. This device permits you to leave the appliance unattended during it's functioning. B) This area shows the following info: • Duration of the selected programme. After selecting a programme, the duration is displayed in hours and minutes (e. g. 2.05). The duration is calculated automatically on the basis of the maximum recommended load for each type of fabric.
ENGLISH 12 Door lock indicator The indicator illuminates when the programme starts and indicates if the door can be opened: • indicator on: the door cannot be opened. The appliance is working or has stopped with water left in the tub; • indicator off: the door can be opened. The programme is finished or the water has been emptied out; • indicator blinking: the door is opening in a few minutes. Extra Rinse button This appliance is designed for saving energy.
ENGLISH 13 Settings Acoustic signals The appliance is provided with an acoustic device, which sounds in the following cases: • at the end of the cycle; • if there is a fault. or cause damage to the appliance. This function remains enabled also when the appliance is not working.
