Starlight Technology
Featuring Starlight Technology, this camera is ideal for applications
with challenging lighting conditions. Its low-light performance
delivers usable video with minimal ambient light. Even in extreme
low-light conditions, Starlight Technology is capable of delivering
color images in near complete darkness (0.009 lux).
Environmental
With a temperature range of -40°C to +60°C (-40°F to +140°F) ,
the camera is designed for extreme temperature environments.
Subjected and certified to rigorous dust and water immersion
tests, the IP67 rating makes it suitable for demanding outdoor
applications. For environments with rain, sleet, snow and fog, an
integrated wiper provides users with clear visibility at all times.
New from the Edge series of IC Realtime cameras is the
IPEG-B40F-IRW1. The camera is capable of 4MP@ 30FPS
and comes packed with high end features, including 120dB
WDR and Starlight support for a more colorful image in
low illumination environments and backed with 98ft of IR
distance.
The camera also comes with H.265 encoding technology,
which provides a more efficient video encoding capacity,
saves bandwidth and storage space compared to H.264. In
addition, it supports 256GB SD card storage and is
waterproof and dust-proof by complying to IP67 standards
System Overview
Functions
Smart H.265+
Deliver high quality video without straining the network, Smart
H.265+ is the optimized implementation of H.265. The Smart
H.265+ encoding technology includes a scene adaptive encoding
strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame
reference structure and intelligent noise reduction, providing
saving of up to 70% of bandwidth and storage when compared
with standard H.265.
Interoperability
The camera conforms to the ONVIF (Open Network Video
Interface Forum) specifications, ensuring interoperability
between network video products regardless of manufacturer.
Wide Dynamic Range(WDR)
Embedded with industry leading wide dynamic range
(WDR) technology, vivid pictures are achieved even in the
most intense contrast lighting conditions. For applications
with both bright and low lighting conditions that change
quickly, True WDR (120dB) optimizes both the bright and
dark areas of a scene at the same time to provide usable
video.
