1.0 Power Source and Installation: 1) Remote (Transmitter) — Is operated with one 12V 23/27A battery. (Included) To install battery: Remove six screws from back of case, separate case and install battery into holder. Snap case back together and reinstall six screws being careful not to over-tighten, 2) Base {Receiver} Is operated with eight AA or eight C cell batteries. {Not included} To install batteries: Loosen two screws on battery door and remove door. Install desired batteries.
Caller Operation continued: 5) Play single loop mode or continuous [oop mode a) There are two settings in this feature, 1} Single Loop Mode {Default}: will play one time in its entirety, and then stop. 2) Continuous Loop Mode: will play in a continuous loop until stopped. To change to the desired mode: Press and hold the “Loop/Mix” button for five seconds. If the unit was in single loop mode, it will now be in continuous play mode.
Storage Space Continued: Deleting Sound Files: To delete a sound file(s) from the unit, go into each of the two storage spaces separately and click on the file(s) you desire to remove. Do not delete the file(s) unless you want to lose them permanently. It is recommended that you cut them from the storage space on the unit and paste them to a desired location on your computer. This way you will still have them if you want to add them back to your caller. See below for Organizing Sound Files.
6.0 Caller Storage: Ensure the LS. Caller is turned off. If you intend to store your 1.5. Caller for an extended period of time, it is recommended that the batteries be removed from both the remote and base units to protect against any battery leakage. (Note: Damage from battery leakage is not covered under manufacturer's warranty) 7.0 Maintenance: With proper care your J.S Caller requires little or no maintenance.
