4. Getting started What is SIM? When registering your mobile phone number, your network operator or service provider will provide you with a SIM (Subscriber Identities Module) card. The SIM card stores many parameters required for communications, you can use the various functions of the phone, and also stores personal information including PIN1 (Personal Identity Number), phonebook, short messages and other extra system services. Use the SIM card carefully, do not bend or press hard.
