Notice before using
Thank you for purchasing our Bluetooth Stereo Headset
HS889. First of all, please check to find everything in your
package and carefully study the user guide to know the
function details. HS889 is developed by the innovative
Bluetooth wireless technology, enabled to connect the
Bluetooth mobile phone/ audio devices with Stereo Gateway
(HS-T809/T819/T829/T839)/or any Bluetooth device which
is with Bluetooth V1.1/V1.2 and supports Bluetooth A2DP
(Audio Advance Distribution Prole).

The headset comes with a built-in rechargeable battery. Prior
to using the headset, it is recommendable to charge the battery
fully for the rst time.
It takes 1 hour to recharge fully.
In charging : green indicator
Fully recharged: green indicator will shut off
Low-battery indication
When low battery, indicator shows slow red ash instead of
slow blue ash

Power On/Off
Power on : press and hold the function button (button 4) for
3 seconds, the power will turn on after the indicator ashes
blue 3 times fast with 1 voice of “Du----“.
Power off : press and hold the function button (button 4) for
5 seconds until you see a 3 second blue light or a voice of
“Du—Bi—“, no light on indicator when power off.

Pairing
When headset is power off, press and hold the function
button (button 4) for 5 seconds until you see indicator
shows two color ash (blue and red ), or a voice of Du—
Du—“, to get pairing mode. (If headset is not paired within
60 seconds, it will power off automatically)
Password: 8888 (remark: the headset must be paired with
another Bluetooth device has A2DP prole before you use
it for the rst time.)

Answer call
When incoming call, headset will ring and indicator shows fast
blue flash, press function button (button 4) to answer the call.
While answering the call, indicator keeps blue flash.

Redial last number
Under standby mode, press and hold function button (button
4) for 3 seconds to redial, indicator keeps blue flash when
talking.

Voice dialing
Under standby mode, press function button (button 4) to
process voice dialing, indicator keeps blue ash when talking.
( To check user guide of your mobile phone to get its voice
dialing procedure.)

Refuse call
When coming call, press and hold function button (button 4)
for 3 seconds to refuse the call.

Transfer call
When talking, press and hold function button (button 4) for 3
seconds to transfer the call from mobile phone to headset or
from headset to mobile phone.
(Refer to your mobile phone user guide for process of
transferring call from mobile phone to headset)

End calls
When talking is over, press function button (button 4) to end
call. After ending call, indicator keeps slow blue flash in standby
mode.

Putting HS889 in standby mode
Headset is in standby mode when in below three situations:
1.Already paired and power on.
2.When Complete pairing
3.After ending call
When headset is in standby mode, you can answer call without
re-power on.

Locally adjust volume on HS889
When talking, you can adjust volume by button 1( - volume)
or button 2 (+ volume).
Remotely adjust volume by mobile phone
When talking, you can adjust headset volume remotely by
mobile phone’s volume key.

Button 3 : press and hold for 3 seconds to stop playing
Button 2 : increase volume
