USING THE FREEZER: 'HIURVWLQJ ,QVWUXFWLRQV Defrosting Instructions In most climates, defrosting will be necessary only about twice a year. Do not use an ice pick, metal, or sharp-edged instrument as it may damage or scratch the freezer. With proper care, it will stay new-looking and rust-free for years. Apply a coat of appliance polish wax when the freezer is new and then at least twice a year.
