Electrical Supply... WARNING: This appliance must be earthed. Fuses Your appliance comes fitted with a plug and a 13A fuse. If you need to replace the fuse, only those rated at 13A and ASTA approved to BS1362 should be used. WARNING: Do not use the plug unless the fuse cover is fitted. Changing the plug Cut off and dispose of the supplied plug if it does not fit your socket. WARNING: To avoid a shock hazard do not insert the discarded plug into a socket anywhere else.
Installation... Follow the Installation Instructions, making sure the Dishwasher is correctly installed. When installing the Dishwasher, carry out tasks in the following order: - choose a location. - level the appliance (adjusting the feet). - connect to a drainage system. - connect inlet hose to water supply. CHOOSE A LOCATION... The choice of location for your appliance will influence its performance. ● Position where possible on a solid floor. Vibration may occur with a wooden floor.
Installation... CONNECT TO A DRAINAGE SYSTEM... WARNING ● Connect your dishwasher drain hose to pipes which connect to the foul drain system, and not to surface water drains. IMPORTANT NOTES For the correct operation of your dishwasher, it is essential to comply with the following information. Installation... CONNECT TO THE WATER SUPPLY... ● For your machine to operate correctly it requires water pressures in the range of 6-150 psi (100-1000 KPa). Most cold water supplies will be in this range. ● Ensure the fill hose is only connected to the cold water supply. CHECKLIST... Before Using your Appliance... Before using your Dishwasher you must carry out the following steps to ensure you obtain the best possible wash performance from your appliance. Follow these 4 steps: - Adjust the Water Softener. - Fill the Salt Container. - Fill the Rinse Aid Container. - Add detergent. ● Press and hold the ECONOMY 50˚ programme button 9 , and set the mains switch 1 to on, before releasing the programme button again.
FILLING THE SPECIAL SALT CONTAINER... The LOW SALT indicator 5 on the front panel will light up initially but will extinguish again after a short period when the salt solution has become sufficiently concentrated. Note: When the control is set to 0, it is not necessary to fill up with salt as none will be consumed while the dishwasher is operating. The LOW SALT indicator is switched off. If the control is set between 1 and 7, then salt must be added to the dispenser.
FILLING THE RINSE AID CONTAINER... The purpose of Rinse Aid is to prevent formation of water marks on tableware and utensils, and to ensure that glasses are clean and sparkling. Rinse Aid is consumed during the washing process. - To open the lid, press on the rinse aid (1) container lid and simultaneously lift the lid off the lug (2). What can I Wash... Items NOT suitable for the dishwasher: ● Cutlery and tableware made from wood or part wood-They become faded and unsightly in appearance. ● Avoid washing horn-handled and bronze cutlery in the machine. ● Delicate/decorative glassware and vases, special antique or irreplaceable china - the decorative patterns printed on these objects will not be dishwasher proof. ● Plastic objects that are not resistant to hot water. ● Copper and Pewter utensils. ● Aluminium and silver objects.

Loading your Dishwasher... Loading the dishwasher Scrape off any large amounts of left-over food. It is not necessary to rinse the dishes under running water. Place objects in the dishwasher in such a way that: - Items such as cups, glasses, pots/pans, etc. are stood upside down. - Curved items, or those with recesses, should be at a slant so that water can run off. - They are stacked securely and cannot tip over. - They do not prevent the spray arms from rotating while washing takes place.
Cups and Glasses Folding Spikes Upper basket To improve stacking of pots and pans, the spikes can be folded down. Long stemmed glasses can be placed against the zig-zag rack as shown below to stand securely during the wash. Do not overload the appliance! It may reduce the quality of the wash. Washing Dishes Programme selection Switching the dishwasher ON. The most appropriate programme can be identified by comparing the type of crockery, cutlery etc., as well as the amount and condition of food remains, with the details contained in the programme overview. The corresponding programme sequence, duration and consumption details are shown in the bottom half of the overview. - - Press the mains ON/OFF switch to ON. The indicator lights light up according to the last selected programme.
Washing Dishes Programming the timer You can delay the start of a programme in increments of one hour for up to 24 hours. Switch the dishwasher ON. Immediately press the TIMER button 2 The numerical display 3 changes to 1. Press the TIMER button as many times as necessary until the numerical display shows the required delay. To erase the time delay setting, keep pressing the TIMER button until 0 appears in the numerical display.
Care and Maintenance... Regular inspection and maintenance of your appliance helps to prevent problems from occurring. This saves time and aggravation. You should therefore carefully inspect the inside of your dishwasher from time to time. Overall condition of appliance. - Check that no grease or scale has accumulated on the inside of the dishwasher. If you discover any deposits: Clean the interior of the dishwasher thoroughly with a detergent solution. Dishwasher salt.
Care and Maintenance... Spray arms. Disconnecting the Dishwasher... Lime and remnants of food in the washing water can block the nozzles in the spray arms and the arm mountings. When disconnecting the appliance it is important that tasks are carried out in the correct sequence: - Switch off at the mains and remove the plug from the socket. - Turn off the water supply. - Disconnect drain and water input hoses. - Remove screws in underside of work surface. Detach board, if fitted.
Troubleshooting... Caution - Do not forget that repairs should only be carried out by a qualified specialist. Improper repairs can lead to considerable equipment damage as well as danger to the user. - The dishwasher must first be disconnected from the electricity supply before any repairs or other work can be carried out. Switch off at the mains socket and water supply and remove the plug. ● ● Resolving minor problems yourself.
