Introduction
Congratulations on your purchase of the Honeywell Water Leak Alarm. This alarm is a
one-time use spot detector with a non-replaceable built-in battery. Place the Water Leak
Alarm in any potential flood spot – such as next to washing machines, sinks, water heaters,
bathrooms, basements, boats, sump pumps, garages, etc. and the alarm will let you know
when and if you have a leak.
Operating Instructions
1. Carefully remove the Water Leak Alarm from the packaging by handling the product from
the top and sides. Take care not to press on the bottom.
2. The Water Leak Alarm is ready for use once removed from the package and includes a
non-replaceable built in battery.
3. Place the Water Leak Alarm upright on the floor or any area where a potential water leak
may occur within your home. When the Water Leak Alarm detects water, a loud alarm
sounds. Since this is a one-time use alarm, you’ll need to disarm the Water Leak Alarm by
simply removing the mesh and sponge material from the bottom of the unit with your
fingers. Once disarmed, the Water Leak Alarm cannot be reused.
LIMITED 1 YEAR WARRANTY
1 year limited warranty from date of purchase, excluding batteries.
Honeywell warrants this product, excluding battery, to be free from defects in the form of workmanship or
materials, under normal use and service, for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase by a consumer. If at
any time during the warranty period the product is determined to be defective or malfunctions, Honeywell shall
repair or replace it (at Honeywell's option).
If the product is defective,
(i) return it, with a bill of sale or other dated proof of purchase, to the place from which you purchased it; or
(ii) call Honeywell Customer Care at 1-800-468-1502. Customer Care will make the determination whether the
product should be returned to the following address: Honeywell Return Goods, Dock 4, MN10-3860, 1885 Douglas
Dr. N., Golden Valley, MN 55422, or whether a replacement product can be sent to you.
This warranty shall not apply if it is shown by Honeywell that the defect or malfunction was caused by damage
which occurred while the product was in the possession of a consumer.
Honeywell's sole responsibility shall be to repair or replace the product within the terms stated above.
HONEYWELL SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING AND INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES RESULTING, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, FROM ANY BREACH OF WARRANTY, EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, OR ANY OTHER FAILURE OF THIS PRODUCT.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may
not apply to you.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE ONLY EXPRESS WARRANTY HONEYWELL MAKES ON THIS PRODUCT. THE DURATION OF
ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, IS HEREBY LIMITED TO THE ONE-YEAR DURATION OF THIS WARRANTY.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply
to you.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.

Nous vous félicitons d'avoir acheté le système d’alarme de détection d’eau de Honeywell.
Cette alarme est un détecteur de fuite localisée à usage unique munie d’une pile intégrée
non remplaçable. Placez l’alarme de détection d’eau dans tout endroit pouvant présenter
une fuite, tel que près de machines à laver, éviers, chauffe-eau, salles de bain, sous-sols,
bateaux, pompes de vidange, garages, etc. et l'alarme vous indiquera si une fuite se présente.
Instructions de fonctionnement
1. Retirez avec l'alarme de détection d'eau de son emballage en tenant le produit par le haut
et les côtés. Veillez à ne pas appuyer sur la partie inférieure de l’appareil.
2. L’alarme de détection d’eau est prête à l’usage une fois retirée de l’emballage et est munie
d’une pile intégrée non remplaçable.
3. Placez l’alarme de détection d’eau debout sur le sol ou dans tout lieu pouvant présenter
une fuite d'eau dans votre domicile. Lorsque l’alarme de détection d’eau détecte de l’eau,
une alarme sonore retentit. Cette alarme étant à usage unique, désarmez-la en retirant
simplement les doigts la maille et l’éponge au bas de l’unité. Une fois désarmée, l’alarme de
détection d’eau ne peut plus être réutilisée.

Coloque la Alarma para detectar fuga de agua en cualquier lugar donde pueda ocurrir una
inundación potencial, tal como: próxima a lavadoras, fregaderos, calentadores de agua,
baños, sótanos, embarcaciones, bombas de sumidero, garajes, etc., y la alarma le informará
cuando ocurra una fuga.
Instrucciones para el funcionamiento
1. Retire cuidadosamente del empaque la Alarma para detectar fuga de agua tomando el
producto desde la parte superior y los costados. Tenga la precaución de no presionar la parte
inferior.
2. La Alarma para detectar fuga de agua está lista para usar una vez que la retire del empaque
e incluye una batería integrada no reemplazable.
3. Coloque la Alarma para detectar fuga de agua en el piso o en cualquier área donde pueda
ocurrir una fuga de agua potencial en su hogar. Cuando la Alarma detecta agua, suena una
alarma fuerte. Esta es una alarma para un solo uso, debe desactivar la Alarma para detectar
fuga de agua simplemente retirando con sus dedos el material de malla y la esponja de la
parte inferior de la unidad. Una vez desactivada, la Alarma para detectar fuga de agua no
puede volverse a utilizar.
