1 Installation 1. Included in the Hitch Demon packaging you will find 5 foam spacers of varying widths. 2. Place some of the foam spacers onto the arm of the Hitch Demon.
3. Insert the arm into the receiver. 4. Try different combinations of spacers until they fit snugly between the arm of the Hitch Demon and the receiver. This will help minimize projector shake while driving. a. 5. Insert the hitch pin and secure it with the cotter pin. a. 2 If more than one spacer is needed, be sure to use the more rigid spacer. You may want to capture the cable with the cotter pin to avoid snagging obstacles with the cable.
b. 6. Connect the power cable with the connector on the vehicle. 7. Turn on the vehicle’s headlights or parking lights. 8. a. The projector will only receive power when one of these sets of lights are on. b. The power button on the projector will glow when it is receiving power. Power Wi-Fi There are two buttons on the back of the projector. One is the power button and the other turns the WiFi on and off. (Wi-Fi turns on automatically at startup. It can be turned off to conserve power.
a. 9. The Wi-Fi button will glow while the WiFi is starting up. It will blink when the WiFi is on, and blink faster when information is being transferred through the Wi-Fi connection. To turn the projector on press the button on the left. 10. Once the projector is on, move the flexible gooseneck and/or the projector head to the desired distance and angle for optimal image projection. a. 4 When adjusting the flexible gooseneck, grip the gooseneck itself, not the projector head.
2 Using the Remote 1. Pull the remote out of its packaging. 2. Remove the clear plastic tab from the bottom of the remote to initiate battery connection. 3. When using the remote make sure to point it at the IR receiver on the back of the Hitch Demon. a. IR Receiver The IR receiver is a black dot located in the center of the logo on the back of the projector. This is where the projector picks up signals from the remote.
4. 5. 6. 7. 6 Press the power button to turn on the device. a. The power button can also be used to toggle through three brightness levels. Press the button labeled WiFi to turn on and off the Wi-Fi. (Wi-Fi turns on automatically at startup. It can be turned off to conserve power.) Press the play button to start a slideshow of the images that have been uploaded to the projector. (Use the app to upload additional mages.
3 Using the App 3.1 Installation Download App 1. Open the Play Store or the App Store on your mobile device. 2. Search for and select the Hitch Demon App. 3. Press Install or Get depending on your device. 4. Follow any prompts necessary to finalize the installation.
3.2 Connecting to the Hitch Demon Connect to the Network 1. Turn the Hitch Demon on. 2. Navigate to the Wi-Fi settings on your mobile device. 3. Select the Hitch Demon’s network. Default is HitchDemon-serial number. Launch App Find the Hitch Demon icon on your mobile device and select it to launch the app. 8 Hitch Demon | Using the App Note: It may take up to 30 seconds for the network to appear.
3.3 Upload Images 1. From the Home Page of the Hitch Demon app, select the Photo Library 2. Select an image. Then press the star in the top right corner to begin the upload process. 3. Select the desired shape for projection (Circle or Square). 4. Use two fingers to zoom and rotate the image until it fits correctly into the outline. 5. Press the crop symbol (bottom right) to crop the image. 6. Once the image has been cropped, press the upload icon in the top right corner.
3.4 Display Images 1. 2. Once the image is uploaded, navigate to the home screen and select the Hitch Demon icon. Select an image and press “show.” After a few moments, the image will be displayed by the Hitch Demon. Larger images will take longer to display. 3.5 Deleting Multiple Images 1. 2. 3. 10 Select the trash can in the upper right. Select the images to delete. Select the trash can again.
4 Setup Screen App Version The current version of the app is shown on the Setup Screen. Connection Status The Hitch Demon’s network is displayed here. Help Select Help to access app tutorials.
Security Select Hitch Demon Security Settings to change network and security settings. Be sure to record any changes made. Slideshow Settings Use this section to start, stop, or change the duration of a slideshow. Brightness Change the brightness of the image shown by the Hitch Demon projector using the slider.

Jurisdiction and venue for any lawsuit concerning this Agreement or the parties’ obligations hereunder shall be exclusively in federal or state courts located in Utah, and the parties hereby submit and agree to personal jurisdiction and venue in said courts.
