CAUTIONS FOR OPERATION • • • • • • • • • • When your refrigerator is first installed, wait 7 minutes for automatic system starting. This refrigerator is not suitable for storing scientific data and medicines Do not touch the evaporator because its temperature is very low. When you place the heave appliances on “TABLE TOP” place the board on it to prevent it form being injured. Do not place heavy appliances more than 40 kg. Be careful not to stress the front overhang of “TABLE TOP”.
2.Temperature of fresh food compartment • Set the dial to “NORMAL” for normal use: If the temperature of fresh food compartment is too warm or too cold adjust the dial. It is not necessary for you to re-adjust the dial after you find the proper setting. Dial Use “WARN” For a warm temperature “NORMAL” For normal use “COLD” For a colder temperature • • If you turn the dial to “COLD” the temperature drops and to “WARM” the temperature raises.
FREEZING CORNER • • • Make use of “FREEZING CORNER” for ice making and food freezing. When you freeze food, wrap it to keep its humidity and flavor before storing it in “ FREEZING CORNER” Be careful not to freeze bean curds and fresh vegetables, because they are not suitable for freezing. DEFROSTING • • You never have to defrost either compartment. The frost on evaporator, which is hidden in back of the freezer compartment, is melted away by the work of defrosting heater automatically.
WHEN REQUESTING SERVICE Before you call for service, check the following item. The refrigerator does not run. Check the power supply at the wall outlet. Make sure the supply cord is plugged firmly. Check the fuse box for blown fuse or tripped circuit breaker. 2. Food temperature is too warm. • Check the temperature control dial setting see page 3-4 Check spaces among the foodstuffs. Overcrowded shelves prevent good air circulation. • Make sure the refrigerator is not in direct sunlight.
