English How to make the batteries perform longer (1) Recharge the batteries before they become completely exhausted. When you feel that the power of the tool becomes weaker, stop using the tool and recharge its battery. If you continue to use the tool and exhaust the electric current, the battery may be damaged and its life will become shorter. (2) Avoid recharging at high temperatures. A rechargeable battery will be hot immediately after use.

Switch operation 䡬 䡬 䡬 When the switch trigger is depressed, the tool rotates. When the switch trigger is released, the tool stops. The rotational speed of the rotary hammer can be controlled by varying the amount that the switch trigger is pulled.

Switching between the “SAVE” and the “POWER” modes The hammering force of the hammer can be increased or decreased to conform with intended usage, by operating the shift knob as per Fig. 19. Adjust the force to match the usage intended. (1) “SAVE” mode ... decreased hammering force This can prevent thin drill bits which are less than 5 mm in diameter, from being bent or broken. English MAINTENANCE AND INSPECTION CAUTION: Pull out battery before doing any inspection or maintenance. 1. Inspecting the drill bits Since use of a dull tool will cause motor malfunctioning and degraded efficiency, replace the drill bit with a new one or resharpening without delay when abrasion is noted. 2. Check the Mounting Screws Loose mounting screws are dangerous. Regularly inspect them and make sure they are tight. CAUTION: Using this power tool with loosen screws is extremely dangerous. 3.
English 6. How to replace grease Low viscosity grease is applied to this rotary hammer so that it can be used for a long period without replacing the grease. Please contact the nearest service center for grease replacement when any grease is leaking from loosened screw. Further use of the rotary hammer despite the grease shortage causes seizure to reduce the service life.

Français UTILISATION 1. Fonctionnement de l’interrupteur 䡬 䡬 䡬 Quand la gâchette est tirée, l’outil tourne. Quand la gâchette est relâchée, l’outil s’arrête. La vitesse de rotation du marteau perforateur se règle en faisant varier la pression sur la gâchette. En appuyant légèrement sur la gâchette, la vitesse est faible, et elle augmente lorsqu’on appuie plus fort. Lorsque la gâchette est libérée, le frein arrête immédiatement l’outil. Repère “ ” 2.
Français ATTENTION : ● ● ● ● Si l’on applique une force excessive, cela donnera un travail bâclé et abîmera la pointe du foret de perçage, réduisant ainsi la durée de service de le marteau rotatif. La pointe du foret de percçage risque de se casser quand on retire le marteau rotatif du trou qui vient d’être percé. Par conséquent, pour retirer la perceuse il est important de faire très attention et de relâcher la pression.

La velocidad será baja cuando se apriete ligeramente el gatillo del interruptor, y aumentará a medida que lo apriete.

Atornillando tornillos para madera (Fig. 15) (1) Selección de una broca de destornillador apropiada Procure emplear en lo posible tornillos con cabeza +, debido a que los tornillos con cabeza – hacen que se zafe fácilmente la broca de destornillador.
