English SPECIFIC SAFETY RULES AND SYMBOLS 1. Hold tools by insulated gripping surfaces when performing an operation where the tool may contact hidden wiring or its own cord. Contact with a “live” wire will make exposed metal parts of the tool “live” and shock the operator. 2. Wear ear plugs when using the tool for extended periods. Prolonged exposure to high intensity noise can cause hearing loss. 3. Never touch moving parts. Never place your hands, fingers or other body parts near the tool’s moving parts.
English 15. Carefully handle power tools. Should a power tool be dropped or struck against hard materials inadvertently, it may be deformed, cracked, or damaged. 16. Do not wipe plastic parts with solvent. Solvents such as gasoline, thinner benzine, carbon tetrachloride, and alcohol may damage and crack plastic parts. Do not wipe them with such solvents. Wipe plastic parts with a soft cloth lightly dampened with soapy water and dry thoroughly. 17. NEVER touch the tool bit with bare hands after operation.

Inspecting the tool Since use of a dull tool will degrade efficiency and cause possible motor malfunction, sharpen or replace the tool as soon as abrasion is noted. 2. Inspecting the mounting screws Regularly inspect all mounting screws and ensure that they are properly tightened. Should any of the screws be loosened, retighten them immediately.
